Good quality for a reasonable price

These are so sturdy and easy to grip to flip on the grill. They are also thicker than other skewers I've found in stores. The nice case helps to store them too.

To be honest, These are not to my expectations. I’m glad I didn’t pay top dollar. I own a few Kebab skewers, and these are by far the worst. Flimsy and low quality grade. The wood handles finish is very crappy. You get what you pay for! These would be good for veggies or “Yakitori” style meats (small). DO NOT expect “Brazilian style” skewers for this price. Size are true to description. I’m planning on sanding the wood handles and staining them darker for a nice touch.Update: 6/2/20After the first time using these set, I have to say that they are “ok”. Not the sturdiest, but will do hold considerable chunks of chicken well. Easy to clean and work fine. The handles burn rather easy though, so consider that. I have updated my review to a 4 stars rather than the original 3 I had given it.These are very affordable and will do the job!

For the price these are so beautiful. Came in a canvas zipper case and are just all around super nice. Haven’t used them yet but so far so good!

Good quality

I have other 17in skewers, but they don’t have wood handles. The first thing I noticed with this product is a little bit of pressure to simulate adding food caused the metal to bend just above the wood handle. I can’t imagine the results of adding grill heat. The skewer tip isn’t very sharp and with that being said I think adding meat could be an issue of some type. Also, the wood handles have a freshly varnished/paint smell and it’s strong enough that even though the skewers are inside a bag the cabinet I store them in smells like chemicals now. The bag that came with the skewers is nice. Like I said my other 17in skewers don’t have a wood handle, but they have none of these issues either. The price is great, they have a nice look, and the bag is an added bonus if the issues I have don’t matter then then go for it.

Works perfectly

Saw a similar product on a cooking show and it was a real epiphany. Any back yard barbecue “chef” who has ever struggled keeping the kabobs on skewers or turning them or burning fingers on hot metal handles will really appreciate using this product. The flat blade is easy to load and turn (flip) . The length of the blade makes it easy to get the food over the heat and still be able to close the bbq lid with the handles outside. And, you won’t burn yourself on the wood handles!
