We bought this as a gift for a schizophrenic family member who has a very difficult time sleeping even with sleeping medications. She says this really has helped! It doesn’t help eliminate the nightmares, but she says it helps her get to sleep and stay asleep. The 20# version is too much to go in the washer according to the description and instructions so she bought a cover almost immediately. Thank goodness she did, because the dog puked on it a few nights later. But this is the best price we’ve found on weighted blankets without a cover. And with her minky cover, it’s really beautiful and cozy!

This was a Christmas gift to my wife. She suffers from anxiety and has had issues going to and staying asleep. A weighted blanket was suggested by her doctor so I looked and looked for one that was the right weight at the right price. This one was both! My wife tried it Christmas Night and has never slept better in many years. It seems well made and is perfect for her. She has thanked me for a full week for getting this for her.

My son loves this blanket! He’s 195 lbs so I ordered the 20lb one as suggested. I did make him a duvet cover because you can’t wash this without killing your washer! My son has always struggled with sleeping (falling asleep and getting back to sleep) and this has really helped!!

The blanket is wayyyy too heavy. Consider the lighter option. Very difficult to maneuver once you’re under.
