Well I decided to buy this ashtray because my neighbor has one that’s 20yrs old (tan color) and it still works and still looks pretty good! What I like about it is that the ashes don’t blow out of it all over my outdoor table and I don’t have to constantly wash the table. It comes apart and is easy to clean. I bought the white one and I wash it with “Dawn powerwash “ leave it for a few mins and it washes clean. I was hesitant to pay $35 for it but I figured if I didn’t like it I could return it. I’m happy I found it is now the only ashtray we use. If it was cheaper I would have bought 2!

So far, so good! It feels lighter than I thought and, as other reviewers said, the top just kind of sits in place. However, so far, it’s held up to the wind and rain on my 5th floor balcony. Keeps the ashes from blowing around everywhere.

I hate ashes blowing all over the place. That's why I bought this cigar holder ashtray. We use it for cigarettes. It works perfectly. I love it. The only thing is that it gets nasty so you have to clean it regularly on the outside. Other than that, it does exactly the job that I wanted to do.

Very functional outdoor ash tray. Gave it 3 stars because white is the only color they offer. The black smoke stains integrate into white plastic quickly make the ashstay unattractive. The concept is brilliant, so hopefully it will evolve into more functional materials & colors suitable for a cigar ash tray. Smoothdraws!

This item is perfect for sitting on table of pontoon boat. drop your smoke in and close lid no muss no fuss.

For all you smokers... these ashtrays are fabulous. I ordered two... I have been looking for just this type of ashtray for YEARS~! They wash easily... keep all the ashes inside when the wind is blowing.. you can close the ashtray easily ... you will love this ashtray~!

Great little ashtray! The shutter slides with precision to cover the cigar ports. Nice weight to the item and not concerned about it blowing away on a breezy day. Wish list items for this: would have been nice if the cover snaps into the bottom dish, but not a reason not to order. Other point. In hindsight, ordering the brown may have been a more obvious choice with the discoloration from the smoke, although it does add character to the ashtray... The vintage look of soot on an ashtray is lost in translation when the product is plastic and not stone or metal, just my opinion on that topic. But otherwise, great buy and very happy with the ashtray.

Sent it back... Leaks when left in rain. Holes not big enough to handle ashing. Top is not tight leading to loose connection between lid and bottom. Cheap plastic.

Wouldn't recommend it as the lid does not clip close so if you have a baby or hit a bump on a boat or your moving your ashtray it will easily spill as well as it is hugee
