Is this a hot air brush?

No it just a hot iron. It doesn't hold your hair very well either

It works like a curling iron if you curl and hold it. I works like a hot brush if you pull it through your hair. The barell heats up. It does not turn or "spin",,,,be careful you don't burn your hair. It gets very hot!
