Reliable and Easy to Use
This outdoor remote control outlet worked exactly as advertised. The setup was quick, and the remote makes it easy to turn lights or decorations on and off from inside. The signal range is solid, even through walls. It feels durable and weather‑resistant, which is great for outdoor use. For the price, it’s a simple and reliable solution that gets the job done.

Awesome & easy!
Love this! All you have to do is plug it in & the remote operates it! Works perfectly! Even comes with batteries already in the remote. Using for outside holiday lights.

Works great solved a problem I had for very little money!!
It does what it is suppose to! I have 2 doors that go out back (the light that came with the house doesn't a work any more and folks wont way to much money to figure it out and fix it. So this device connected up to 2 flood lights (one by each door) With one of the 2 key chains hanging next to the inside of each door used like a light switch Problem solved for a lot less than those GREEDY Electricians!!

Can accommodate two plugs
We bought this wireless remote control for some Christmas lights that we put up outside. The remote works fine. It’s got two outlets to it so you can plug two different sets of Christmas lights into it. It’s waterproof and it works very well. I’m sure we’ll get many years of use out of it.

Does What It Was Ordered For
Right now, this item suits the intended purpose. I will point out from previous user comments that the remote fobs seem to fail prematurely and the batteries are difficult to replace. For the reason that remote fobs (might) fail prematurely, it was a good thing I could buy two with single dual-outlet. One will stay in a safe place in case of failure with the other. Upon delivery, I had an exceptional bit of difficulty sliding out the battery tray. I wanted to test the battery voltage (3.27v) before committing to service. So "Yes" the battery is a PitA to access. But in the grand scheme of things, perhaps not a big thing. The outlet was placed into service in my crawlspace. It serves a 50 cup de-humidifier and electric fan. Those components keep the crawlspace humidity at 50% year-round and the actual humidity of the wooden floor joists at 9%. My Termite guy says this is perfect to help keep risk of infestation low. After setup, everything works as necessary. I'm able to stand in my office and point the remote at a 45 degree angle at the floor in the direction of the wireless outlet .. perhaps 18 feet away. Switch works smoothly with the de-humidifier and fan performing nicely; to include the compressor doing a normal cycle. I hung the outlet at an angle so I could visually determine "on/off" status with the crawlspace door open but not needing to crawl in. The greenish-white light (luminesent) was quite easy to see from about twenty feet away. My intention is to use the humidity meter (already installed) as a guide for turning the de-humidifier on/off during the Winter when extended periods of low humity can be expected. Having done a deep power study last year I can predict monthly savings of 49.6 KWh when cycled off. I realize that isn't much and $7 a month won't get me on a vacation. But -- when the unit is off, the de-humidifier's not wearing out. A good de-humidifier costs $289, lasting only three years at full time use. If I can extend the life of the de-humidifier (and fan @$20) .. getting replaced every two years) the Dewenwils Wireless Switch should give me a return on investment in about 1.5 years. Well worth the effort to try to squeeze out some service life .. don't you think? I cannot speak to reliability. But, if you check out my previous posts, I'm known for circling back on certain items and commenting about service life. So likely, as this was an important project, a follow-up will occur. Of note, I've gone to the trouble of keeping humidity in the crawlspace "managed" for medical reasons. I'm highly sensitive to mold and there has (in the past) been some. My due dilligence has kept me symptom-free for several years now. Overall, my initial judgement says this "gizmo" is definitely a "Buy". If --- in three years, it is still working, I will change the four star rating to five; something I think likely to happen. Very Best of Days to All.

Work great for outdoors and has great range.
This remote switch solved my problem of how to turn on and off our outside lights from different rooms. It comes with two remotes. I've used them up to 50 feet away with no problems. The switch is rated for outside use so it's perfect for outdoors. The remotes are simple to use with on and off buttons and no programming nessassary. I can't find anything negative to say about it and I recommend it.

I will be 2 yrs in a few weeks that I have owned these and I highly recommend them. I keep one plugged in for year round use with my patio mini lights. The other two I use for Halloween and Christmas lights. They always work and I love how I can turn all my outdoor lights off inside. I use plugs in front and back of my house and have no issues, once or twice I had to reprogram but its easy and occasionally when all three are in use I have to walk from front to back of house to get closer range for turning off I am inside the house when I do this.
