I decided to buy these despite there being no prior reviews. The bowls arrived and they were good quality. They seasoned well and became that classic black oiled stone color. One bowl was chipped. The wood bases are flimsy and not the same quality of the bowls. These are a good deal for the price. They hold heat well and produce crispy rice when used to make bibimbap.

Ok experience, could have been better.
Arrived with one completely crushed wood pot holder. The stone bowls work as advertised, I just wish the two included wood pot holders had made it to me without damage. Both bowls did crack, but it hasn’t really affected the performance of the stone pots.
