ADE optic well woth the price
This is a great optic. I mounted the RD3-012 on my Ruger Mark IV 22/45 without issue. I used the Ruger factory picatinny rail and all fit well. Zeroing in was easy as the sight was close out of the box. I had to go up 1 inch and left 2 inches to get zero. I zeroed in at 30 feet. Once I locked in the dot the unit held zero just fine. Product is well made. I would highly recommend this optic.

Amazing quality
As a retired gunsmith and gunshop owner, I've had my hands on a LOT of optics over the past 34 years. I read a bunch of reviews before deciding to try the Ade Micro Red Dot Site. I had used their mounts in the past and was impressed with their precision and quality. The site did not disappoint and was simple to mount on a Beretta M-92FS (using the appropriate Ade mount). The lens is nicely coated, the dot is clear and fully adjustable and the thing just looks awesome...and at a price that is half that of comparable sites. I am so impressed that I just ordered another one to attach to a custom M-1911 "Race Gun".

Very Good Value
The ADE is not the least expensive red dot on the market, but it seems to be a solid optic with features normally seen only on more expensive units. I was particularly attracted to the separate "up" and "down" buttons for illumination level. When the current setting is not ideal, the best setting can be reached without having to cycle completely through several possibilities, as is the case with a single-button unit. Also, the battery can be changed from the top, without requiring that the optic be removed from the pistol. If I were to use this optic on a carry gun, the power would be turned on every morning, then left on until bedtime. Or possibly left on all the time. A very expensive optic specifies battery life in thousands of hours, but a less expensive optic will need more frequent changes. The sight has locking adjustments for windage and elevation, and comes with a nice rubber/plastic dust cover. The viewing area is clear and wide. There is a very shallow groove on the back of the housing that may be usable as an emergency rear sight in conjunction with the standard Glock front. I've just noticed it, and will have to try it out next range day.My experience with Sportswarehouse customer service was also very good. This is my first red dot and, checking it on receipt, was worried after seeing a multi-lobed blob where there should have been a neat circular dot. Further investigation revealed that I have astigmatism. When wearing prescription eyeglasses, I see the dot as expected. Sportswarehouse was good to work with throughout.Only one trip to the range so far - I can't address the longevity of the optic and give it a fifth star yet. Also, I don't know whether red dots will be the best approach for me. But if they are, this ADE may well be good enough that an upgrade isn't needed.

Inexpensive but not cheap
Buying the ADE RD3-012 Red Dot was ano brainer. Mounted on my Taurus G3C T.O.R.O, is exactly what I needed and completed my EDC pistol. You hear stories of people spending up to 1,000.00 to have a great CCW. Well eith the addition of my ADE Red Dot I have less 600.00 into a great CCW package. The ADE ADE RD3-012, is super bright, easy to mount and very accurate right out of the box. Comes with everything including a mount for picaninny rails for carbine. I put a lot of research into this and the ADE RD3-012 Delta cane our #1.

Good product, almost
Got it a few days ago, took a few minutes to put it on the Glock 22, then out to the range, did two hundred rounds. Zeroed, did not lose zero, dot was crisp and bright. It comes with what you need, including a spare battery, except for a mounting plate (if you need one, its ordered separately). Now the bad part - the advertisement says its elevation/windage adjustments are 1 MOA with audible clicks, that is not true. Its turn screw adjustment from one end of the adjustment range to the other, there is no 1 MOA adjustment with audible clicks. Had I known that it did not actually have adjustments 1 MOA with audible clicks I would not have purchased.

Great red dot for plinking
Currently have it installed on a S&W Victory 22, sight is nice and lightweight. Easy to zero and holds it very well, though it’s not getting beat too hard with just a .22lr so your mileage may vary. Would I put this on my AR15 pistol? Probably not. A 22 or 9mm carbine? Absolutely. My only minor complaint is that the screw head for the picatinny mount sticks out just a little too far and looks goofy, but it’s a minor nitpick that in no way effects how the sight actually functions. Sight seems to be well built for the cost
