Bolt snap should be stainless steel
Loved these for our trip to Bonaire, where having your hands free while entering and exiting the water is pretty crucial. My only gripe is that the bolt snap is not made of stainless steel, so you will have some corrosion if you aren't on top of thoroughly rinsing and adding a silicon grease to the spring.

Perfect for shore diving.
Perfect for shore diving when you need one hand for the camera and one hand for the rocks.

Great device for shore diving.
This strap was great for shore diving. I was able to keep my arms and hands free which helped me keep my balance.

Great for shore entries with surf
I bought this for Bonaire, and I'm glad I did. Wading through surf on broken coral and rocks is tough. This helped free up a hand to catch myself.

Easy way to carry fins for shore diving
I bought this to help me keep my fins in order on a recent shore-diving trip to Bonaire with just my husband and myself. We are both in good shape, but I've had major knee surgery so I'm not as strong as I'd like to be and the waves, along with the sometimes rocky/slippery beaches in Bonaire, were difficult for me to navigate and I was turning to him more and more to help steady myself. To make entrance & exits easier on us both, I got this quick release loop and attached to a d-ring on my BCD. After some trial and error, I found that a d-ring on my left-side, chest-level was optimal, as it was easy for me to reach across with my dominant right hand, and it was up high enough that my fins didn't flop around and hit my legs too much in the water. There are two separate loops for each fin, staggered top and bottom to make access easier. My husband even asked me to carry his a few times so I was loaded with 4 fins and it was no problem - he'll be getting his own fin keeper this year. I'm glad I made this purchase.

Very handy for beach dives
I am limited to beach dives because I don't have a boat. I love having my hands free when I'm getting in and out of the water, it's very reassuring knowing my fins won't get swept away in the surf. Very simple yet effective device.

Who wants to carry around fins, a mask, and a snorkel
Carrying around your fins, a mask, and a snorkel while walking to the water sucks. This fin and mask keeper makes walking to the water a little easier and frees up your hands for a number of other activities. These activities include; taking a leak, shaking the hand of a passing diver, saving your partner from imminent danger, pulling your wetsuit out of certain areas that you would prefer not to show off...just to name a few. Bottom line is that they are super handy and perfect unless you do mostly boat dives, maybe. Recommended!

Great accessory for shore diving
Used daily during a Bonaire shore-diving trip. Very useful to attach mask & fins during water entry, especially if holding a camera.

the metal piece quite sharp, be careful
the metal part is quite sharp, not polished properly, and I got cut deeply when I'm trying to slide it open.
