Gone For a Run | Runner's Race Medal Hanger | She Believed She Could

It was a great gift, exactly what I was looking for. My niece was delighted and immediately installed at wall.

Overall this display hanger is great! I highly recommend if you want to hang up and brag to your friends and family. The 1 issue I had was the screws that came with the item. This is a heavy metal frame and they include these 3 fingernail sliver size screws. I used them, but once I put the medals on, I could easily pull the holder out of the wall. To fix this issue I used 2 wood screws that firmly held it tight to the wall.

The sign is cut from a piece of steel and finished in a nice, flat black. All as expected. But the screws sent with it are useless. They are too short to go through drywall to a stud and are not drywall anchors themselves. Simple enough to buy new screws but the holes provided are so small I found it hard to get the exact right screw. Also you cannot enlarge the hole due to their positioning on the sign (no extra metal.) I ended up getting mirror hangers and hang the sign from them. Also, the support that actually holds the medals looks a little thin. With only three hanging from it the gap is opening up and, like the sign, the screw hole is impossibly small. So decent sign, but needs a more thought-out installation method.

Very well-made item! I was surprised at how heavy it was but the metal feels so smooth & light. I like the design. I only wish it had a better way to mount it on the wall. The 3 tiny screws that came with it are not really long enough to secure into sheetrock. So mount this first on some wood & then use molly bolts to secure into your wall. Otherwise, it could pull out from the weight of the medals. Those ones from the Rock-n-Roll marathon are very heavy!

Haven’t installed yet but doesn’t look difficult: 3 screws and pre drilled holes on unit. However, love the sturdiness and the look of the item. Can’t wait to hang!

Very solid workmanship. Only two small screws to mount on wall. Ended up mounting to decorative shelf. Looking forward to wife adding more for a beautiful collection as this was a surprise gift (until she received the email it was being shipped...lol).

Gift for my wife at Christmas. Haven’t given it or installed it yet. Looks great initially!

My wife recently has moved up to half-marathons and marathons and she wanted a medal hanger. Thi shanger was more than she expected! Easy to install and hand medals.
