Floss is tougher than plastic ones even for the tightest gaps

I was shocked when I discovered all the nasty ingredients in regular floss. I spent my whole life ingesting residues of petroleum-based plastics, PFAS, artificial flavors and waxes without realizing it. So glad I woke up and found this floss. It's 100% Natural Silk and Candelilla Wax Coating (plant-based, non-toxic wax). It works just like regular floss, it’s strong yet gentle on the gums and glides smoothly.

I tried this because I wanted to ditch the plastic-based floss because of the warnings that micro particles get left inside your gums and generate inflammation and disrupt hormones. I like the texture, but I for 2 reasons I only gave it 4 stars. 1. It is not strong enough. Every day the piece of floss breaks between 2 teeth of mine that must be slightly tighter than the rest. Very annoying. 2. The amount of each item of floss is very small--I have been using it about a month and it's disappearing fast. They need to give us more. And of course, price is always an issue, I felt that for the quality and amount I received, the price was too high.

After a solid 2 months of use, this floss is garbage. It shreds between teeth and falls apart. I hate to say it because here is a dental floss that is actually nontoxic, yet it comes apart even between easy-to-reach teeth. The glass jar and presentation is pretty, but if you have even the smallest of contact between your teeth (and I have invested plenty of good money into my smile) then keep looking elsewhere. If there is snake oil, then this is snake floss.

I love this floss! It cleans really well and is comfortable. At first I struggled to get it between some tight teeth, but that only lasted a day or two. I honestly believe this is because this floss actually cleans better for me than my previous plastic floss. The spaces between my teeth feel much cleaner than they ever did before, and have no discomfort at all. And knowing that this is environmentally friendly and not leaving microplastics in my gums makes me so much happier.

Prettty good for silk floss, better than some other brands I’ve tried. Still not as good as the polyester alternatives for function but decent. Gets between most teeth except for the tightest of spaces.Glass bottle is a nice touch that I’ll definitely continue to use.

I wanted to make the switch from regular waxed/chemical floss to a natural one. After researching various brands and reading reviews, I decided to try Tree Bird Eco Dental Floss. I am happy that I did too. It comes in a nice small glass bottle so you can see when you need to refill it, the floss is thin but very strong and slides between the teeth easily. Since I have some teeth that are tightly together, I have had no problem with it shredding as I did the regular waxed floss. It is well worth the cost to have a natural floss with no chemicals. I have already ordered refills since I could tell I was getting to the end of this first one. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to feel they are getting a good cleaning job when flossing their teeth.

I love that this is made from a natural product and that the container is glass. However, the floss is too thick for my teeth. It feels like I'm going to rip my teeth out when I try to pull the floss out from between my teeth.
