Very very good
An excellent tape measure for the price. Solid, accurate, locks up well. I've bought a few of these because they're the best on the market for the price.

Good to have extra
It’s small but good enough for an extra one when u need to quickly get your hands on a tape measure for projects without pulling out the whole tool kit. Would recommend.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Perfect for My Part-Time Job! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I needed a reliable and affordable tape measure for my part-time job, and the Komelon 4912IM has been a great choice! It’s compact enough to fit nicely in my pocket, making it easy to carry around. The 12-foot length is perfect for most of my tasks, and the dual inch/metric scale is really convenient. The tape is durable and the lock mechanism works smoothly. It’s tough enough to handle daily use, and the ergonomic design ensures a comfortable grip. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a practical and budget-friendly tape measure!

good quality
I recently bought a tape measure from HF and was appalled by the poor build quality. I decided to get a new one with metric on it and this was very affordable and a good size for my needs. My first impressions are very positive. The build quality of this tape measure puts the HF one to shame and rivals the larger Stanley tapes that I have. Just received it, but so far, I like it a lot and may grab a couple more ,so that I have more tapes with metric on them.

Leave it in the box!
I bought this tape measure 5 years ago, according to Amazon. It is packaged such that for household use, you can leave it in its packaging and everything still works perfectly. Why leave it? So that I can always find it easily. It is small, and the packaging is yellow and big and makes it easy to find among my pile of junk. My 5 year old tape measure is still in its packaging, works great and I use it all the time, and I never have trouble find it until recently, when my son keeps taking it to do schoolwork and doesn't put it back, so I am buying one for him so that he can leave mine alone. It is in both ft and cm, which is handy. So remember, if you don't plan to pack it around on your belt, leave it in the packaging, and you will thank me every time you find it in a flash. Buy it for your mom for her birthday. It is perfect for old women like me.

Just bought my 2nd…
I’m an old dog (old carpenter / old builder) learning new tricks - doing more work in metric.I bought one of these tapes last year; it’s my primary go-to tape, and lives on my workbench, so it’s my tool of choice for everything shop. (Outdoor, when I’m framing or such, I’m still inches.)I just bought a second identical tape to live next to my machining tools. Now, I can do some planning and roughing on my bench, in metric, and directly fabricate in my machine shop.Yes, as you’d expect (but I still checked) the measurements are identical. And yes, I could just stop what I’m doing, grab the original tape from the bench, and go back to fabricating, but as a devotee of Adam Savage, that is a source of productivity friction (“first order accessibility”). So, a small luxury, but one that I find useful. They’re nice, small tapes, that are great for smaller tasks, and for helping old dogs learn metric. They are NOT what I’d use to build a house, tho.
