Product Description is lacking.
We love Sofia. We bought 1 book on Kindle then ordered 5 books. This is a mixed review for My Vida Loca. When I received it, the size was visibly different than the other Sofia books - maybe 2 inches shorter and thicker. I just thought - this must be the newest published. I really liked the size of this one better than the other Sofia books. We got through the first story & its 3 short chapters only to realize that this book was a collection of 3 Sofia books - so 3 full stories with 3 chapters each. This would have been fine except it doesn't mention this in the product description. I bought 2 of the books that this collection already contained - I could have spent $10 somewhere else. Otherwise, we love Sofia's stories - she is 7yrs old, the stories are family-centric which is culturally correct - each problem has an easy resolution. The illustrations are vibrant, the Spanish language inclusion is excellent. A wonderful series for young girls.

Great 1st grade chapter books
What great introduction to chapter books! We bought three of the "Sofia Martinez" books and all were fun stories! Really like the Spanish words throughout although I wish there was a little bit more. Illustrations are cute & colorful.Think it's great for 1st graders as the reading was a bit easy for our 2nd grader but nonetheless was still very enjoyable.

Great Illustrations - Fun Easy to Follow Storylines - Excellent Overall for Early Readers
Adorable book - perfect for my nieces! This is actually a collection of three little stories for kids - which works great because they can read one at a time without getting overwhelmed in the book. The stories are: SINGING SUPERSTAR, THE MARIGOLD MESS and THE SECRET RECIPE. Wonderful illustrations and a really cute main character!

bright illustrations accompany this chapter book that is best for children ages 5 to 7
Cute, bright illustrations accompany this chapter book that is best for children ages 5 to 7. Seven year old Sopfia has adventures that are chronicled in three stories in the book as she becomes a singing superstar with a toy microphone, helps her abuela cook arroz con leche and has some trouble while washing the family's car. There are some Spanish words and phrases in the book and a Spanish glossary is included at the end. I think that children will enjoy this book. I received this book free to review from Netgalley.
