CANSHN Crystal Clear Case Compatible with iPhone X/XS, Non-Yellowing Shockproof Protective Phone Case Slim Thin, 5.8 inch

This is my first case from CANSHN. I've had similar cases before (in look and feel). But I needed a new one, so I just did a random search for iPhone Xs cases on Amazon and did a quick, cursory comparison. Not wanting to spend a ton of time looking, I tried this CANSHN case.I've only had it about a week now, so not a ton of experience yet. I am pleased with this case. It's lightweight, about as "unbulky" as a case can be while still offering real protection (already it had an accidental fall, about 2 feet onto our polished concrete floor. A drop that low has ruined a screen of mine before if it landed just right - or just wrong enough, I guess). This case protected it. I like how flexible the material is; it's easy to put my Xs into it, and also easy to remove it. I also like the reinforced "bumpers" at the corners. They don't really jump out at you, but you can feel them and of course see them when you look closely - they don't add any bulk to speak of. One thing I haven't liked about previous cases is how inflexible and ineffective the parts of the cases were over the volume buttons and the power button. I had to press very hard to get them to get enough push/hold. Taking a screen shot holding the power button and one of the volume buttons at the same time was kind of awful with those. This case makes working those buttons very easy, it's almost like the case isn't even on the buttons. I was a little concerned too about the case covering the speaker holes at the bottom edge. But audio playback without air pods has been fine. So far, a week into it.... two thumbs up.

Appreciate this so far - seems quite durable, yet minimal in design, incorporates protection around the speakers for dust/etc. while still preserving their clarity, protection on buttons, and is easily cleaned with water and wiping it down.The company seems to care quite a lot about customer satisfaction and have gone out of their way to make sure this is a quality product for consumers. Nice standard to set in today's market, so please keep it up!

These style of cases are the best type for iPhones if you happen to be a person that drops them often. If not, it’s still great for those accidents. The cases that have the shock absorbent with spacing in the corners are the best. This case has saved my phone a few times. Accidents happen and I prefer when it’s just bumps and scratches on the case or screen protectors. It’s very easy to install and doesn’t block the charger chord. The color I prefer is the transparent one but no matter what, it will eventually get that yellowish brown tint over time.

I was originally going to leave a one star review because I thought this case covered the speaker and microphone grilles on the bottom of my iPhone X, but after inspecting the case closely, I noticed that while there is plastic over the grilles, the case has three small forward facing openings over the left and right bottom grilles. This design might offer better protection of the grilles from dirt or maybe there is an improvement or degradation against wind for the microphone. I only tested the sound quality by playing music with the case on and off and it didn’t sound any different - that’s when I noticed the three holes in the case. See my photo if this doesn’t make sense. Pretty cool design - it might work well for your use case.Ultimately, I decided to return the case because it was a bit too soft and flexible for me. I like my clear plastic cases to be a bit more rigid to protect my phone. I also noticed that the lip above the screen was ever so slightly less than another brand of case that I decided to purchase again.

Three days after dropping over $1,000 on my new iPhone, I dropped the phone, and the screen has a small crack. I was going to use it with no case because I think it’s a beautiful phone. I also hate cases that are bulky and prevent the phone from fitting into my front pocket comfortably.Because of the cracked screen (not very noticeable, and the phone still works fine), I decided I needed a case. This case caught my eye because it’s not at all bulky and doesn’t hide the phone since it’s completely clear. You can still see the beauty of the phone. And the price of this case is great. I also bought a screen protector, since my screen is likely much more fragile since it is cracked.So far I am very pleased. I can’t vouch for how this will work if I drop the phone again , but it clearly will prevent the glass on the back from getting scratched, and, in my case, I’m hoping that along with my screen protector it will pretect the small crack on my screen from getting worse so I don’t have to get it replaced.I wish I would have had the case from the start!
