If you're looking for an "Ultra-Light (UL) Action" rod THIS IS NOT WHAT YOU WANT!. The action is extremely stiff with very little give to it. It is also rated for a much higher line poundage range than any ultra-light action rod would specify. Also, although it was securely packaged in a large box and surrounded by multiple air bags, it came delivered to me with a broken tip end section. There are much better choices available than this one. Spend an additional 32 well spent dollars to get a rod that is accurately presented from a trustworthy maker. I would strongly suggest a KastKing Calamus Ultra-Light Spinning Fishing Rod that can be purchased on Amazon for $59.98. This was my choice after returning this Sougayilang piece of you know what. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

This an awesome rod and they have really good customer service. I already got two of these. The rod is built fairly well and can take a good amount of force. Not your walmart rod for sure. The pole comes in 4 pieces and is pushed together to assemble. So far extremely sturdy, haven’t had any issue with the junction points. The finger and grip area is thicker than traditional rods which gives more control and comfort. The elbow tip is not soft, but does the trick. Overall a great build for this low price.

The the union of handle to second pc. Connection rod will not couple easily. It is too tight and may not disassemble. I am going to sand the joint. If it does come apart it defeats the purpose of a 4 pc Rod I’m traveling to the Virgin Islands to Fish. When I get there and assemble this connection, if it does not come apart when flying home it won’t fit in my luggage!! So I’d have to leave a rod 2000 miles from home! Don’t have time to exchange this purchase before my trip!

Rod ratings dont match the chart, chart said it was moderate light action and it's actually a medium action.. on that note, it is a nice medium action rod though, compact when broken down and nice quality for the money. Custom service is great an they took care of the problem for me in a quick fashion.

Don’t like the way the Very end of the rod bends so far it hasn’t broken . Have caught some large bass 4 to 5 pounds and no problem. Very light rod but also heavy duty you could probably haul in a 20 or 30 pound fish!

After a week of using this rod, the power is enough for big and small mouth bass and crappie. The rod can be seperated into 4 pieces and come with insert bag, it's great to traveling and fit into case. Can't beat the price for this rank of rod.

My husband loves this rod, it perfectly accompanies his Abu Garcia baitcaster, and is light and extremely compact when broken down, making it fit easily into a backpack for air travel and perfect for those lake fishing trips.

This rod is by far one of the cheapest pieces of garbage possible! I highly recommend not buying! You’re are better off going to Walmart and buying the cheapest zebco or Shakespeare. This rod literally snapped in two spots on a less than 2lb large mouth! Not worth it!
