12 Foam Filter Pad Inserts for Hagen Fluval 204, 205, 206, 304, 305, 306 (A-222)

8 1/2 x 3 x 7/8” in dimension. I bought these for my aqua cube cat fountain and cut them lengthwise and then cut a piece to replace the prefilter for the submersible pump. It is thicker than I would have liked, but is working perfectly. The holes are just a bit smaller than the original, but it only needs to catch fur and dropped kibble. I did have to be careful putting the housing over the pump to avoid blocking the pump outflow because it is about a quarter inch too thick.I will never have to wash another prefilter with this pack. Cut carefully, I should get about 6 to 8 dozen of the size I need. Still worth the cost. I can think of many other uses for these as well. Crafters and collectors who need a piece of foam to cushion small items can cover it with material or not.

I use my Fluval for my water turtle, and I can say that the filter can get pretty disquisting and every so often it is time to just replace the inserts. One problem, Fluval replacements can be pretty pricey, so I am very glad I came across these 12 Foam Filter Pad Inserts. These fit into my Fluval perfectly and seem to be working just like the originals. The best part about these, you get 12 and for an awesome price...that also means 3 changes before purchasing more :) Overall, I am very happy with this product at this time!

I love this product.- cheaper than buying the filter pads from Fluval- more convenient using big rolls of filter media & then cutting to size.- they stand up well in my canister filter & do an excellent job of trapping the dirt produced by my 2 large aquatic turtles- I rinse them out with dechlorinated water twice a month & put them back in the filter (for tank with fish, this wouldn't need to happen as frequently). - each filter pad lasts me for at least 2-3 months.

These are exactly what is described, precut filter for the fluval 206(what I'm using). After testing this out, I only have 1 negative comment. These filters are not as free flowing as the fluval one. I set up my co2 atomizer across the tank and before I change to these filter, the current would reach it and blow the co2 through the ba k tank. Now I see that majority of that co2 going to the top of the tank. Because of this filter, I will have to re-position the co2 atomizer. Other than this, these filter are really convenient since they are pre cut.

Fluval 306- they work however they have a God awful chemical smell! I need to soak these for days in water to remove it.

Showed up in a big bag, simple packing which is the way I like it. They are a little longer than the original ones for my 306 but they can easily be trimmed or compressed a little to fit. I go through a lot of these with goldfish and a giant standard pleco, bunch of poop factories make it so I need to change these almost every week. Grateful to find these for such a good price
