Really does support detox, but not abruptly. I feel like it really supports my lungs and clears brain fog. Sounds like an unlikely set of benefits, but my husband said the same for him. Smell is awful in bottle so swallow quick! I have bought bottles for all my family members

My NP medical provider, who also practices functional medicine, recommended that I take NAC to supplement antidepressants and an anxiety medication. She ordered that I take 2400 mg a day, which I did for a few years. Some brands I've used have caused heartburn and one brand caused projectile vomiting at that dose. I finally found this one, which is reasonably priced and only comes in 1000 mg tablets. After consulting with my provider, she said it was fine to take 2000 mg (2 tablets per day, at different times). That is a high dose, but I did this on the advice of my medical provider. This has been the best one so far. Even though it has a little bit of a "tangy" taste, it does not cause me any digestive distress, even when taken on an empty stomach, which I do with the morning dose. I seems to have the same effect as the others that I have taken, all of which came in 600 mg tablets, and I would take 4 per day to meet her recommended dose. You do have to become accustomed to the large size of pills, but, other than that, these are the best I've used as far as NAC, and they are reasonably priced, and this is a high-quality brand, based on this and other supplements I have used from this brand. I will purchase this one again.

I have had allergies for years! So bad to the point that I get allergy shots and cannot go longer than 10 days between them or it gets ugly. This is even after years of maintenance on them. Now I take it about every other day and this item is a staple in my medicine cabinet!

I have trichotillomania (scalp puller for almost 20 years) and I heard this is helpful for the condition. Finally bought some. So far so good. I started taking it on 12/5/17. So my review is based only on 5 days worth of taking it BUT I have noticed I'm not pulling! If I continue not to pull I will be ordering more for sure! It does stink to high heaven with a hint of garlic. The pills are large, but I don't have any trouble with them. Its worth it to perhaps get some hair. I will post updates as I see fit. But so far so good. Seriously!

My doctor just told me to take it already had bought this bottle so now decided to but the pill is so huge i almost Choke on it will try cut it into two hope fully they reduce size.

You need this. YOu don't think you do but you NEED THIS. It is everything the previous reviews said- specifically, the long one that gave all the benefits. I felt better tonight and it's only been one pill. TAKE ON AN EMPTY STOMACH. Then don't eat for an hour, preferably. I'm not a doctor and no one paid me to writer this. I've had horrible stomach ailments recently and this made a difference. I didn't expect it to do much but I'm convinced this is the best supplement I've bought in years. Basic vitamins are great too but tHIS has made a notable difference. Thank for making them easy to swallow!!!!!!

I use this to help with liver function due to taking ibuprofen on regular basis for pain. It has also used to prevent respiratory problems for people with allergies or chronic bronchitis. I have used it for years and have not had serious bronchitis flair up since.
