Our 1 year old really loves this piano! It is great because we can get music and animal sounds. It is very easy to pack up, so we can easily grab it and take it to Grandma's house or when I visit a friend. You can play music with regular notes or with the sounds of the animals - which keeps my 3 year old entertained. It is loud, which is totally great for our noisy household. However, it doesn't haven't sound control so it a little loud for when we have people over. I would definitely buy this again :)

Bought the piano mat as a Christmas gift for my 3-year-old daughter. It arrived quickly and is packaged well in a colourful box. I installed batteries and tried to play it. The sound quality is better than what I expected. There are 5 modes – monosyllabic mode, animal voice mode, melody mode, animal sing mode and bit by bit mode. I believe that it will bring much fun to my son. Highly recommend! Pros -Good quality -Cute design -Cheap -Looks durable Cons -It will be better with a volume control key

Cute, good value for the price. Pretty cheap looking but you get what you pay for. Love all the sounds and songs. Hate how loud it is and there’s only on/off (no way to change the volume).

I bought this as an afterthought, because I had already purchased three other sound/piano playpads but I'm deaf and I figured my wife wouldn't mind. Of them all, our 1 year old prefers this almost exclusively. The options are surprisingly numerous, and easy to navigate even without hearing. My daughter is currently obsessed with the animal noises, and my 6 year old son has been demanding equal time so that he can play rudimentary piano fare in the key of duck or dog. In two months it has paid for itself several times over. And only recently did it need the batteries changed, while the other, less utilized models wore out weeks ago. The two minor issues that kept it from being four stars are 1) the screw for the battery compartment was stripped from the beginning, but a drop of superglue sufficed until I could find a larger diameter to substitute with. 2) my wife has mentioned that the volume can be louder than little ears should be close to, although for most people this is easy to monitor, I'm sure. Overall, our family prefers this model to others 10-15 dollars more expensive, might buy another just to reduce scheduling problems.

My 7 months old daughter enjoys this even though she can’t reach all the keys yet. She loves the piano on our activity gym but it only has 5 keys, so I was looking for a piano toy with more keys she can experiment with. This mat is perfect and it was a hit with the older kids when we hosted a playgroup so I know she will grow into this. It can be folded up so it’s a great toy to bring with us when we visit the grandparents. Wish it came with batteries but we had some on hand so that wasn’t an issue.

I opened the box, put in batteries, and played with this for about 30 seconds before it started malfunctioning. It got stuck and was making an annoying, loud, pulsing/stuttering noise. I turned it off and on multiple times but that didn’t fix the problem. I was disappointed with the quality of it to start - zero volume control so it’s very loud, the speaker part is very cheap, thin plastic, and it wasn’t super responsive - but then to have it immediately malfunction! I realize it’s only $20 but I purchased it over the $12 option on Amazon and feel like it’s worth about $2.

I gifted this to my nephew. He loved it. He was mainly into different sounds you get when you press each animal. He was least interested in 1 2 3. The last picture plays longest and that was the one my nephew liked a lot and played again and again. It may seem small but the size is okay for the age group. My nephew is almost 5 now. The only thing that could be improved is making it stay like a mat. The fabric can be cleaned easily, easy to use, easily portable and foldable.

This piano mat is so lovely, my daughter likes it so much. There are many modes to switch. Animals singing are cute. My daughter really likes dancing with the music mode.However, songs are so loud, no way to adjusted. I make a transparent tape to cover the speaker, that makes voice more comfortable.
