This carrier is a perfect fit for the CURT #18153 60 x 24-Inch Basket Hitch Cargo Carrier. It uses the full length and width of the carrier and is a couple inches taller than the other bags that I looked at. Totally waterproof in my experience. I have used it a couple times on 3 hour drives in heavy rain and the stuff inside was completely dry. very solid construction, strong zipper, strong tie-downs, good seams, everything really well made. I also like that it is plain black with no big logos on it.I am using this more than my Thule roof top box lately because it's more convenient to put on and off, holds more stuff, no wind drag/noise.

Using it to carry, store and transport a 10'x12' bounce house. Has plenty of room to spare for my tarp and blower as well. Material is very durable with a stout and waterproof zipper. Will be able to utilize the straps to hold it onto a wheeled cart

If you have a carrier hitch, just buy this, it takes out hassle of strapping down all the time( i still do for long travels) but this is perfect for all weather. I have done 2 trips more that 500miles long, no issues at all, strong and sturdy.

Great quality. We bought it in 2019 for road tripping. Of course, nothing happened in 2020 (COVID)! Just got back from second trip 2021. Each trip was over 2000 miles and we went through multiple rain storms and our luggage stayed perfectly dry. Heavy duty materials. It fit perfectly with my 60" wide hitch rack. we put 4 suit cases in it 1 large plus 3 carry on size and we had plenty of room. remaining.The bag is strong. We lifted the bag with all the luggage inside (~200 lbs?) of the rack for storage - no problem.The only thing that I do not like is the attachment straps. They are easy to use however except there is no easy way to bundle or tie up any remaining length of strap to keep them from flapping in the wind. If they are not bundled up, the straps will fray and shred in the wind making them unusable.I bought some solid rubber bungee straps from Harbor Freight and put 4 of them across where the straps would attach. The bungees were much faster to attach and easier to use instead of the straps.

I was impressed with the design and sturdiness of the material. Was the perfect size for my cargo carrier. Unfortunately, I never got to use it, as it was stolen out of my vehicle in valet parking at a hotel in Destin.

This cargo bag allowed me to load a lot of smaller items and keep them safely out of the weather - speaking of weather: We left Texas on a 1200 mile trip to Ohio and the first half ( day 1) was made in rain varying from heavy downpour to heavy mist. No moisture got in! It the photo you can see I secured the carrier on top of coolers using its own anchor straps (they work well for this). I then used the Cargo Net to be absolutely sure the load was secured.I was very satisified with the quality for the price and the performance!I do agree that an internal frame would be useful for holding shape for loading but keep in mind I needed to cinch this down and a lightweight frame mike not have withstood this. Had the carrier been down in the hitch carrier the carrier bag straps and an internal frame would have been perfectly fine.Several things in the Pic - Gen-Y hitch, Pak-Mule Cargo Carrier, Gorilla Cargo Net (7'x8'), Aftermarket lights I installed - for safety.

This is one fantastic cargo bag. It's kept the items dry during rainy road trips. It's large enough to fit a lot of bags, etc.Had it since 2019. It's still in great shape.

Our family was planning a trip out west and I needed some external storage that would also be waterproof as most of our luggage would be outside the car. I read may reviews and settled on this option. This carrier worked great. While most of the trip the weather conditions were dry, on our return trip home we encountered some of the heaviest rain I have ever driven through. Everything remained dry! Additionally we made several overnight stops on the trip and had to unload the carrier at each stop. The durability of the bag was great. The zippers held up and the tie down straps are very easy to use over and over again. I highly recommend this carrier for anyone looking to have a waterproof, external storage compartment.
