I could probably make my own similar to this, but for the price tag vs the time I would spend doing it these are a good deal. The medium packing cubes from ebags fit well inside to keep things separate. I use in my car for the "stuff" I should have in there (flares, jumper cables etc.), and the things I want in there.

Great All-Purpose Bag
I use this bag for my mountain bike shoes in the car. Now my car is clean and the bag is dirty! Perfect solution and very affordable. Mountainsmith is a great brand. My 2nd bag of theirs.
