Food, Sex And Peace of Mind: What A Woman Needs To Know To Keep A Man

Insightful
I found this book to be both engaging and insightful. It was full of many statements and sayings that I found myself highlighting and sharing with friends. The quotes alone would make a good book. In reading this book I gained a different perspective on men and on their perspective. Although at times I felt parts of the book were a bit redundant and I did not always agree with the author's perspective on some things, the book is full of wise brotherly advise that you wish you had learned before you ever entered the dating game:) The book was real and raw but with a spiritual twist. I definitely give it two thumbs up.

He knows his stuff!
I’ve read another book from Mr. Bostock and he never disappoints. I’m married but he gives me perspective from a man’s standpoint. He always says, married, single, or dating, the principles should never change. He is so right. I’m really enjoying his book. Again, I’m not single but I think I may have to buy his other book too.

Excellent
I recently encountered Chey B on Twitter with his TWEETS OF TRUTH! He inspired me with his tweets and I began to share with my single friends (male and female).I placed my order thru Amazon and tried to wait patiently for it to arrive. Before it arrived I ordered another copy for my sister in college. I wanted to make sure that she had an equal and fair chance to know what she needs to know to get a man and keep man. But most of all not settle for less out of desperation. I want her to be happy and know her value as a woman. My book arrived and I took with me to a doctor’s appointment. When I came out of my appointment my mother said, “I need to get this book". That says a lot about the content of the book. My mother is currently a Pastor in ministry and she has her own personal ministry. She is also a counselor. She has been doing pre and post marital counseling for about 13 years. If she is impressed then I know that I am in good hands with Chey B's Food, Sex and Peace of Mind: What a Woman Needs To Know To Keep A Man.I recommend this book to all women... Single and Married! Chey B. speaks the truth. Sometimes the truth hurts but it is good medicine.

Good book
This book literally saved my life. About a year ago Sep 2018 is when I decided I was going to take it anymore with the F#$% boys I had enough of giving everything 120% and getting 10% from men. After reading this book and making a list to God about what I wanted in a man a good man one of God a man with a job career a car a home of his own. I got everything and more that I asked for they say be careful what you ask for my life changed. In Dec 2018 I found the love of my life. Thank you so much!! Very recommended book if your willing to take what you read and put it in action in your life.

WHY WE CANNOT AND SHOULD NOT BE HERE FOR CHEY B.
"Chey B. makes the assertion that he speaks for all men and that women would be better off being submissive. Chey has admitted that he targets women. Has taken pride in the hash tag #singlebydesign but yet his whole book is devoted to telling a woman how to get and keep a man. When he is questioned or criticized about his views he often responds with pre-prepared, generic answers. He has yet to answer direct questions regarding how his message affects equality."If one were to rate this book based on Chey's Twitter account, this book should be taken off of shelves IMMEDIATELY. A life coach should be one that has their life somewhat together. Chey's personal life and relationships are anything but. I find his advice harmful and dangerous to the masses, especially women.I could not get through the first chapter without feeling as if this book was not written to empower or help women, this book is in fact a personal assault on women everywhere. Chey is attempting to make a living by making women less powerful. He shames independence and feminism. Chey's advice hinders women. Please DO NOT buy this book

Self help excellence!
In my opinion this is the realist advice ever wrote. Some may reject it's truth because accepting it causes pain, and makes people have to take a hard look at their selves and their behaviors. By doing so you then have to take responsibility for the part you have played in breaking your own heart. By realizing the world is not fair and that if you want to be treated well by the opposite sex and to be chosen as a wife rather then mearly a lover, or a doormat, you must take responsibility for your own actions, and avoid men that don't moraly align with the type of relationship you wish to have. This book is an amazing road map to the male viewpoint, and the type of advice you would receive from a father who brother who has your very best interest at heart. I personally loved it and plan to read his sister's book " Single on Purpose" by Jordi Bostock next.

The Truth!
As a single woman who feel that women do not need to read another book about understanding men, but men actually need to read more books about understanding women, I approached this book with a bit of skepticism. However, in reading the first chapter, I knew that this book was different. Chey B emphasizes the importance of a woman appreciating and loving herself and understanding her self-worth as the key to achieving and sustaining a healthy & loving relationship. The book reminds women to find the love they want within themselves first. His insight on what men are looking for in a woman (whether it be a life partner or temporary fling) may seem harsh, but the truth oftentimes is not pretty...but it is the truth! If you want sugarcoating this book may not be for you. But, if you want to hear the truth, buy this book! I have gifted this book to my closest girlfriends (married & single).

A woman must know her own worth for others to value her.
I highly recommend, Food, Sex and Peace of Mind, by Chey B. This is an awesome self-help guide, for women who are tired of the dating scene and have grown weary from the craziness. This book is passionately written to help direct women through the downfalls and struggles of dating. It sets a standard, establishes purpose and puts the power back into a woman's hand to determine her own value and out come. It teaches women to first learn to love yourself and by doing so, then attracting a mate on the same level. This book is relatable, informative and it gives insight into the heart and mind of a man.

Common Sense Reading
I bought this to support Chey. I found him on twitter and he tweets alot of common sense thoughts that we women should know and follow. This book did have some editing issues which I emailed Chey about and got no response... I get the feeling he doesnt like the challenge. This book seemed to be a rewrite of Steve Harvey's knowledge with less intimate knowledge and experience to back Chey up.I think Chey is on the right movement and I can vision his improvements.

great book
I wouldn't take all of his advice but I must say he is more practical than a lot of the other men who published if you want to know how black men think because I am not persuaded that white men think the same way or other males in other cultures.
