These are slightly longer than the black originals that were in my washer. Didn't solve my shaking washer issue so I put the old ones back in. Don't know if these would solve someone else's issue if they actually had worn-out springs but since my old ones still look fine and actually seem to work better I'm sticking to those. P.S. I tried shorter springs also and that was disastrous - actually made it worse. Stick to the originals. :)

Springs are slightly larger then the original. But not shiny. They did, along with the new dampers, fix my washers banging and vibrating.
