Works well for adjusting ip cameras. You can use browser to access web portals for ip devices. Would enjoy it a bit more if I could install my own software or if it was on regular android.

CCTV apps works as intended, Wish it there is a better way to turn on POE, then going in the settings. It annoys me a lot! Fantastic Cable tester and diagnostic.

Das Gerät ist eine ganz tolle Unterstützung bei der Prüfung von Kameras. Ich hatte mir das Gerät bestellt, um Vor-Ort bei Kunden den Standort neuer Kameras auszuwählen. Das Gerät hat tatsächlich einen großen 7800mAh-Akku und versorgte eine Hikvision-Kamera DS-2CD3686G2-IZS mit Strom via POE. Benutzername+Kennwort eingeben - und man hatte ein Bild. Mit den Funktionstasten lies sich das Zoom-Objektiv steuern. Die Bildqualität ist gut, für einen Testmonitor ist die Größe ausreichend. Leider geht das Gerät aber zurück, denn mir wurde ein gebrauchtes Gerät geliefert. - Bereits beim Auspacken fiel auf, dass das Siegel geöffnet war - das Netzteilkabel war nur zusammengeknüddelt und nicht wie üblich mit einem Draht gebunden - das Display hatte Kratzer - es fand sich ein gespeichertes Video vom 11.07.2025 - in den Netzwerkeinstellungen fand sich ein DNS-Server-Eintrag der "Arizona State University" Das Gerät wurde aus den USA mit UPS nach Deutschland transportiert. Ich hatte nicht darüber nachgedacht, aber tatsächlich fand sich nur ein amerikanisches Netzteil im Karton. Darauf muss man achten, wenn man sich etwas aus den USA schicken läßt. Anyway: es ist ein gebrauchtes Gerät mit Kratzern, das möchte ich nicht akzeptieren und daher geht es zurück. --- English review: The device is a great help when testing cameras. I ordered the device to select the location of new cameras on site at customers' premises. The device actually has a large 7800mAh battery and powered a Hikvision DS-2CD3686G2-IZS camera via POE. Enter your username and password, and you have an image. The zoom lens can be controlled using the function keys. The image quality is good, and the size is sufficient for a test monitor. Unfortunately, I am returning the device because I was delivered a used device. - When unpacking, I noticed that the seal had been broken. - The power cable was just tangled up and not tied with a wire as usual. - The display had scratches. - There was a saved video from 11 July 2025. - In the network settings, there was a DNS server entry for ‘Arizona State University’. The device was shipped from the USA to Germany via UPS. I hadn't thought about it, but there was only an American power supply in the box. You have to pay attention to this when you have something shipped from the USA. Anyway: it's a used device with scratches, which I don't want to accept, so it's going back.
