IT DOESN'T GET BETTER THAN THIS...
A great book by Tom, which explains that art of caricaturing step by step. Definitely a steal and ,when bundled with Lenn Redman's 'How to draw caricatures', they're the best resource to learn from. Loved the quality of the book too!

Worth every penny
What can I say? I was looking for a book to give me a solid understanding of the art of drawing caricatures, and this book delivers on every front. I am looking to switch from traditional portraiture to something a little more fun, and can safely say that Tom Richmond has hit the nail on the head. The first thing to note is the quality of the book itself; nicely weighted glossy paper just full of high quality images with well formatted text. It may sound like an odd thing to say, but having bought many a reference/photography/illustrators book in the past, it's refreshing to see a book printed on quality paper and in colour. There are plenty of ways of drawing caricatures out there, but I found Tom's approach logical, educational and easy to follow. Be prepared to learn about the human face, its structure, all of the medical names etc - stick with it, as this is one of the most imortant lessons you need to grasp. Finally, it's just a fun book to flick through - there are some very funny caricatures in it!How can a book that has been so well put together not be inspirational? Thanks very much!

A must for any aspiring caricaturist
This book is fantastic. It gives a comprehensive description of how to draw every feature of a caricature with really good examples, and tells you what to do/not to do. I am just starting out and learning, and it is currently my bible. This is the best caricaturist I have ever come across. It is also a good quality book with nice pages and great colour.

Exactly what you want, love it
I adore this!! I'm an artist but I can't draw freehand, I have to observe, this however is going to allow me to draw awesome caricatures and especially one of my late great uncle who recently passed away. Love this.

Stunning, educational, and inspirational
A stunning book that taught me a lot about caricature. Study the principles that Tom shares and really learn how to draw the basic features of a face. One thing I found trying to follow Tom's process was that it didn't feel natural to me, but it works perfectly for him. With caricature each style and approach will always be individual and unique. Having this insight to how one of the masters works was a blessing, and I learned more from this book than I hoped. Definitely suited to the modern era of caricature.

beautiful
A great book showing the basics in muscle structure to show how the facial features can then be morphed to createdetailed caricatures.
