Leg Elevation Pillow for Sleeping, Swelling, Post Surgery - Memory Foam Bed Wedge Pillow- Support Cushion for Pregnancy, Leg, Foot Rest

I just got a meniscus knee surgery and was looking for a pillow as I need to keep my knee and foot higher than my heart when I sleep. I’m really glad I got this pillow, it’s been incredibly useful.Although it does keep my leg slightly bent, for the first week after surgery I couldn’t straighten my leg anyway so it was perfect. From now on I’ll add an additional regular pillow on top of it at the far end to lift my ankle higher which will help straighten my leg out. This pillow will still provide support under my thigh which is great.It’s firm but not too hard, it’s comfortable, the cover is very soft, it’s both easy to move (not too heavy) and stays put thanks to its tiny rubber ball texture on the bottom. It’s well made and didn’t have any off-gassing or chemical smells that I noticed. The foam feels good quality.I’m really happy with this pillow and would definitely recommend it.Happy healing if your recovering from a surgery!

I purchased this elevation leg pillow to help heal a bone contusion/bruise.It helped tremendously in keeping my leg elevated.It is packaged, rolled up, in a clear, plastic bag. It takes a couple of hours to fullyexpand.The elevation is great for getting rest; the firmness has great support; the coveris soft and easy to remove and put back on; the color, white, makes it very cleanlooking.I haven't washed it. I would buy it again and I highly recommend it.

I am so happy a friend told me to get this for my recovery from foot surgery. This has made a Huge difference in comfort. It is wide enough for both legs and it's a great angle and firm. So much better than propping up on a few pillows and much more comfortable.I knocked off a star for the following reasons:I think this could be better priced and the cute carry case it came in was worthless. It ripped trying to get the pillow out and by the way it was jammed in, you would never get it back in to use. We had to cut the pillow out of it.Other than that ... it was a great purchase and I'm glad I have it!

I have severe degenerative disc disease in my lumbar spine and a good night's sleep has been eluding me for YEARS. No matter what I tried, I woke up in pain.Had to have an MRI recently and was pleasantly surprised how good my back felt when the tech offered to place a similar device under my legs for the procedure.I began my search on Amazon the minute I got home. I settled on this product because of design. It arrived, vacuum sealed, in a nice little pouch. Once opened, it expanded to full height in just a few minutes. I'm 5'8" with longer legs and It's the perfect length/height/firmness for me.I like the fact that it has little grippers on the bottom, so it stays put when your legs are on it.Have to say, I personally like the firmness of the product, I mean the point is to elevate not squish down - it's not a pillow. I've been waking up with significantly less pain in my lower back in the morning after using this, so that's a win in my book.The ONLY drawback for me, is that I wish it were a bit wider. This size is great for use on a couch - but I relax my legs when sleeping and one of them tends to fall off during the night. Maybe I'll just order one for each leg!Overall, nice find for me. 👍👍

This is my 3rd time ordering a pillow to try and find the right one to elevate my leg. The first one I ordered was to wide but had a layer of memory foam on top that made it comfortable. I had to send it back. 2nd pillow had the same measurements as the "Xtra-Comfort Leg Elevation Pillow". I loved the width as I only needed to elevate one leg but I could still elevate my other leg if needed. The 2nd pillow wedge was to hard and so my ankle/heel stuck up in the air. I even tried putting a soft pillow on top but it was to uncomfortable that I had to return it within a week. I finally found this one. Perfect width with a layer of memory foam on top. It's a firm enough pillow to keep my leg elevated but the memory foam allows my leg to sink in just enough that it's not sticking up in the air. I've had it for 10 days now. It comes in a white or brown pillowcase. The instructions said to air it out when you first get it. I stuck it outside but I didn't notice much of a smell and I'm sensitive to chemical smells. By bedtime it was close to or fully expanded. It comes vacuumed packed in a cylinder bag inside a box. Although you won't be able to get it back in once you pull it out. So far I am very happy with this wedge. I fall asleep with it. Sometimes I can even sleep on my side. I am 5ft 4inches. If you are a larger person or have larger legs and need to elevate both legs you might prefer A wider than 17 inch wedge.

I just had foot surgery, and have to keep my foot above my heart for 2 weeks. This was cheaper than other options, and after 3days of continuous 24hr/day use, it seems to be the perfect pillow for this purpose. The angle is just right, and it is soft enough to be comfortable and firm enough to give me the height I need (and at 200 lbs, I have heavy legs!). It came rolled up very small (super-compressed), and I used scissors to open the sleeve it came in, then left it overnight to expand. Easy-Peasy! I did not notice any bad smell, but then was not near it for the first 8 hours after I opened it.Great pillow, perfect for my needs. Thanks!

Just from the look of it, I feel somewhere deep inside that this pillow was used before. It just didn't adjust well to the outside material. If the item is truly new, then I would rate the seller, in terms of quick delivery, etc. 5 stars; but if this item is a used item (which I feel it is), then I would not give it that rating. The item itself is comfortable to use, but have not used it long enough to say it is truly helpful, although it feels okay when I use it. Too tired to send it back...too much trouble.
