Some of this is that they may just be the wrong product for me personally. They're perfectly comfortable in that they don't feel like you're wearing much at all, but wearing them only a couple of times seemed to degrade the fabric horribly. I don't feel like they're cheaply made, but my footfalls are heavy.Like I said, might just be the wrong product for me personally.

Wearing socks with sandals in not considered much of a fashion statement in my area. Nonetheless, comfort means a lot to me. These tabi-like socks make my flip flops feel good. I like that. Washing: I washed the white pair by hand after wearing them about a dozen times. Then, while still wet (wrung them out first) put them in a small bag made to launder lingerie in a washing machine. They came out of the washing machine that way and dried over a lawn chair in the shade. This worked well. Darker colors will look even better.: )

I live in TN and some times it’s cold and or hot in one day. I can get up and put them on with my sandals and then later when it gets hot I can take them off. The fabric is light enough that it doesn’t stretch your shoes, but not too light. When these wear out I’ll buy more.
