Acoustic Audio CS-IC53 250 Watt in Ceiling Speaker 3-Way Home Theater, White

I bought this along with 4 two-way Pyle PDIC-60 speakers that cost half the price. This went in our kitchen so the subwoofer was further away - so I wanted a speaker that has more bass. Guess which ones sound way better and have more bass? That's right, the two-way Pyles that cost half as much. It's baffling to me why these cost so much more and sound so much worse. I've tried flipping the polarity and setting the amp for different subwoofer settings and eliminating the subwoofer altogether... this speaker always sounds thinner, with very little bass response. Can't recommend.
