Viper 7945V 2-way Replacement Transmitter

This remote immediately paired with Python 574 alarm system which comes with 6711t antenna. No antenna upgrade is needed. Python 574 is the equivalent of Viper 5704V, which is listed as the compatible system on the remote's bubble box. There was some uncertainty about this compatibility, as DEI didn't even mention 5704V in the compatible models in their website for this remote, and no any Python systems were there either. The remote paired successfully and all functions are operational.

Best place to grab a spare from! Trust me, you dont want to resort to the plain old viper key fob "spares" in case the good one breaks. You'll feel so cheated. You'll definitely want to replace the original (2 way) long distance key fob. And get back to your usual half mile reach. 😄😄😄

Excellent remote! Visual display of what function level you are in and what the buttons will do. The new location for the keyring is a better solution over the 7944V centered pin. Take note, you will read many reviews about charging problems with these and I've essentially found the cause. DO NOT USE A QUICK CHARGE CAPABLE CHARGING DEVICE! Only use a charge source with no more than 1.5 amps. I recommend a standard 1 amp to be safe. You will not be able to charge a remote once it's damaged. I believe the quick charge tends to spike the charging controller inside and you won't know until the next time you go to charge the remote and when you disconnect it the unit will show low power or shutdown.

Just got this at the end of December and the battery is not holding charge anymore.

I needed to replace one of my viper remote's because the display was no longer bright enough to see so I ordered this one and it has a very bright display and was easy to program.
