I looked for months for a drain hair stopper that would work for my new 4 in pop up bath tub stopper. I tried similar styles of different brands but my hair still slipped through. Let me tell you this one delivers! Wide enough up top for the bottom to sit flush in the tub and actually catch my long hair. The little nobs catch my hair so it doesn’t slip off and fall into the tub when I pick it up to clean it. I highly recommend

It does its job well. Both my roommate and I have very long hair and I used to have to clean the drain at least monthly. I haven't had to clear it out since I got this over a month ago, and there are no signs of needing to do it any time soon. My only qualm is that the water drains slower through the little holes in the hair catcher than it would with nothing in the way, but it's not enough to be a real issue and it's definitely worth the trade off.

I found myself in the shower with water up to my ankles..I tried a few remedies like vinegar and baking soda etc to no avail. I asked my poor husband to help and using a tool, he unclogged my tub that was FULL of nasty hair from our family of 5. He gagged and I laughed but felt bad so off to Amazon I went. I found this perfect fit hair strainer that fits my pop up drain. It doesn't slip and slide and is easy to clean. Would def buy again!

I was a little disappointed that the suction is almost nonexistent, and so hair still slips under the protector. It also causes water to pool around the drain. The quality of the rubber is good, and it does more or less do the job, but if there are better options out there, I wouldn't hesitate to switch right away.

My daughter and I both have long hair and have had lots of issues with the hair clogging the drain. I used this for the first time and it worked perfect. I was able to take it out after my shower and clean off the hair very easily.

So I got this to go over my popup drain to prevent my hair from going down and clogging the drain. While it does prevent my hair from going down, the water drains just as slow if not slower than if I just let my hair clog up the drain. The whole point of buying this was so that the water would always drain quickly without me having to snake the drain and this does not deliver on that point.Though I haven't been having this mold issue I keep seeing in reviews and I've even left mine in the tub over the drain for weeks with a drippy faucet, no windows for air flow, and haven't seen the slightest bit of mold. If yours molds after a few days, you probably have a serious issue in your pipes.Regardless I would suggest you buy something else unless you like standing in your dirty shower water the entire time.

I got tired of buying drain clog clearing chemicals or plunging the showers so this was a game changer!I LOVE MY GIRLS BUT... the amount of hair loss during the showers was mind numbing and I'm bald so I KNOW it wasn't me. The use of this has made not only the normal draining of the drain possible on a consistent basis but also it's nice to shower without a 4 inch deep pool of dirty water and soap suds around my feet.I just make sure to remove it before I shower to clean it and replace it after I'm done with my shower so it can do it's intended job. It's a little thing but can easily become a peave that disturbs what should be one of the completely peaceful and serene parts of daily life.

Product works pretty well. Quality is good and it is easy to install. It looks good in the bathtub and is easy to remove hair and other gunk. It does, however, move around a little bit when the water is on. But, overall it fits pretty well.

I have a shower over the bath, with a pop up plug.This fits over the plug perfectly and traps all the hair from going down the drain.I would agree with other reviews that it does leave a tiny amount of standing water, but this is no problem for me. Perhaps more of an issue for those with a shower tray?Recommend this product.
