We love they way they look
These icicles are a total hit. We love they way they look. Our friends love them. They are relaxing, meditative and fun to watch out the window. They are easy to string up and the strings connect to each other. I bought both the 30 cm and 50 cm versions. I would recommend the 50 cm, just because they are bigger. One thing to note: I hung mine up under an overhang so they are not exposed to rain or snow. I've read lots of complaints in reviews from people who put these lights in places exposed to rain/snow, which, they said ruins the lights.

I would not recommend. They do look nice when they work but ...
I bought 2 strings to hang outside for my Christmas display. First string lasted 2 hours. The other string lasted a day then the AC cord adapter failed along with 2 of the lights. I got the other6 working with a spare adapter. I would not recommend. They do look nice when they work but they are cheaply made and will not last

Comparison with other tube lights.
A couple things. First these are cool and new. I hung them around my house to have different christmas lights than everyone else and they are indeed just that! They look like drops falling off the edge of your roof. They are somewhat expensive, so I bought 3 different brands to try em and find out whats best. Here is what I found. Some are cold white as oppose warm (yellowish) white (and there are other colors too). The old style bulbs are warm and I like them indoors, but the cold white seems to work fine outdoors. There seems to be 2 lengths: 12" (30cm) and 18" (50cm). I like the long ones and wish they had 24". Their are different "rain falling"patterns. Some have a short (6-8") streak of lights that slide down the tube while for others the light starts at the top and goes all the way down lighting all the LEDs until it gets to the bottom and then they turn off going down from top to bottom. (basically, the streak is the length of the tube). Some models are brighter that others. Some have different transformers and the connections to hook one chain into the previous chain is different sizes. Be aware of all this in picking one. This particular model is cold white, 18" short streak, and an average brightness. This is the model I bought 5 sets of to get 40" along the front of my house. One of the 5 sets was defective and looks rather like it was a repackaged set. They took it back fine though.

Great lights for ay holiday.
I saw these kind of lights at the mall and thought they looked great and wanted to hang them in my house. These are rather simple just an led strip inside a plastic tube, but works great and provide bright white lights.I hung them over the garage and they look great.I ended up ordering 2 more sets of white and blue lights. The only negative is that i wish the cable with the plug was a little longer.

Would not waste money on them again
After working for about 3 days the lights started to not work. Would not waste money on them again. Gave it a two simply because for a couple of days they looked nice.

five stars for appearance - we really liked the way the lights looked - and one star ...
I bought ten sets of these lights before Christmas. Having read several reviews, I knew that they were not as water resistant as claimed. Expecting only frozen precipitation that time of year, I thought water would be no problem. I used electrical tape to cover all seams in each power supply, as well as the the red LED power indicator and all wiring connectors. Two light rains later, three of the ten sets had failed, all due to water somehow getting into the power supplies. When I took the lights down, I also noticed that all eighty light tubes had condensation inside. I have no idea how that happened, as they look watertight. Also, note that the round wiring connectors will work in one orientation, but rotated a half turn, they will not. There is no way to determine the correct orientation except by experiment. And, though I could connect two or more strands to the same power supply, I didn't since every light tube in the connected strands fired at the same time, not randomly as they did with only one strand. So, five stars for appearance - we really liked the way the lights looked - and one star for the ridiculous water resistance claim (IP64 means "Protected from water spray from any direction"). Three stars on average.

Power block crapped out with just HUMID weather
UPDATE... Living in Houston we have HUMID mornings... Both of these power adaptors went out within a week. Complete garbage and NOT DESIGNED FOR OUTSIDE AT ALL.They MIGHT work if you squirt dielectric grease into the openings of the block and then maybe place the power block in a waterproof bag of some kind. But I knew they would fail once I saw the power supply. AND THEY DID! Quickly! My neighbor hung some of these up in his palm tree last Christmas and looked pretty cool so I wanted to do it this year. He got his from a different place. The big difference his his power supply. It is more of a heavy duty weather sealed power supply with a waterproof screw on connector with a rubber washer to help seal out moisture. This set.. The power is provided by what basically is a USB power charger that a phone might use. And then the lights plug into it via USB.. It says they are for outdoor but I have SERIOUS concerns about this style of charger and plug holding up to rain and moisture getting into the USB opening even with the wire plugged in..Currently up in the tree I have the power block end in a ziplock bag with some electrical tape around it to keep moisture out. I will probably get a tube of dielectric grease and squirt enough of it into the power block till its oozing out of the seams and maybe that will work instead of the bag.

So far so good!
I just got these in, haven't put outside yet, so review may change. But they all worked. I bought 3 and was able to connect them all together. They look great and the kids are excited to see them outside on the tree! At this time I would definitely recommend!
