Update 8/26/2014 - As I said in the title... "Worth ignoring flaws", therefore I've upgraded my rating from 4 to 5-star. The process for the seller to replace the defective wheel was easy and took less than a week. I've now used this cart for a 14ft fiberglass canoe with all my day-trip gear (including battery & electric motor) and it works great. Remarkable design & value! +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ This cart is a remarkable value, superb design and very well made! I would have given it 5-stars if it were not for the annoyance of having to deal with requesting the replacement of a defective wheel. Otherwise, for the $25 price tag (+ shipping) it would not be possible to even begin buying the parts to improvise one's own cart. In other words, aside from defective wheel problems I consider many of the reported annoyances to be no-big-deal. For defective wheels others have reported `won't-hold-air-pressure'. In my case one of the wheels had small plastic `growths' on the inside of the bore, thus it would not fit over the axel. That's a DEFECTIVE product! Other wheel annoyances... Wheel odor in my Aug '14 delivery was no problem, no different than when getting new tires on my car. Both my wheels arrived deflated and inflating them requires finding a spigot that will fit in tight spaces (my bike pump didn't work). Note that the wheel valves need to be toward the inside of the cart, otherwise they will bump into the wheel-holding pin. Inflate to 30 psi max. Spray the axel with dry lubricant for extra measure (never oil or grease that would soon gunk-up). Holding your kayak or canoe securely... Just forget the flimsy hold-down strap that came with the cart. Instead I use the straps that hold down my canoe on my car's roof rack (metal clamps). Short as this cart is, I use one strap for each of the forward/aft under-canoe-supports. Once I line-up the wheels with the canoe and cinch-up the straps the cart-&-canoe are inseparable. The tripod stand is a great feature for holding the cart steady while you load you canoe/kayak, easily retractable once you have strapped down your craft. Cheers!

This cart is built sturdy and has a solid wheel that doesn't need to be inflated so no worry about flat tires. I'm using this cart with a common 10' Pelican kayak that weighs 39 lbs. This cart is very light and stows well in the kayak with the wheels off. I put the strap on the front of the cart and it holds very well unless you try to back it up over a bump. I wrapped the tie strap once around the round tube on each side and it held well. Two straps would be better if you expect rough terrain. I positioned the cart so that the kayak was just a bit front heavy and it is very easy to walk with. I read in some reviews people say the strap is inadequate but I found it fine for the intended job. I traverse over park lawns and gravel roads at worst. If I needed a second cart I would buy another one of these.

Un carrito muy útil y práctico. Poco peso y funciona muy bien en terreno lodoso y disparejo

So, this company HAS to be blowing these carts out due to the odor emanating from the rubber tires. Functionally it is the SAME cart I see elsewhere around $100, it is sturdily built, has all the parts, looks like it works swimmingly, but I wasn't able to test drive it just yet. Three UPS drivers fainted trying to deliver the box to me, it got to my door and the smell drove off all the neighborhood cats, I put it in the garage for a while and noticed that the smell had killed all the flies/mosquitos and I am pretty sure did in that family of mice living in the wall. I had to put it outside after the smell layered everything in my garage and the neighborhood children started running away from my car. I put it in the backyard and small birds and squirrels started dropping, stone dead, from the trees. I had to apply to a superfund site to get rid of the box (which a Taliban offered to buy from me to make a dirty-bomb with, but the smell knocked him out long enough for the FBI to get to my house..) So it smells... Bad.... I am going to leave it in the yard for a month (at least) to off-gas before I even use it. Upwind of that neighbor with the barking dogs....
