REVIEW FOR "HDMI SWITCH 5 TO 1 4K ULTRA HD". This device worked well WITHOUT the USB power cable plugged in (bit weird), and when I plugged in the USB power it didn't appear to change anything so I left that unplugged. Used all functions for 2 months (including IR remote). Woke up today and unit was not outputting signal, so I checked the unit and all LEDs were off. Tried using the USB power cable again, but it does nothing. Dead. For short term use this device may suffice, but I wouldn't take the risk. Unfortunately I do not know a better alternative, will need to go searching.

Bought to replace a 4-port by the same company as I needed an extra port. Very pleased with it.Picture quality is excellent though the remote can sometimes be a little tetchy requiring me to push the buttons on the switcher manually. The previous one was the same.Very easy to install and at this price point It’s a steal.

Small easy to install, allows switching between a PS4 and retro console with a projector with only 1 HDMI ran in the wall. Needed one with remote and it works well

I’ve never used anything like this before but was sent a free Nowtv stick. I only have 3 HDMI sockets so with other kit I have connected I never had a spare socket. Easy to connect everything. I got it working and thought this is great. Anyway switched off everything that night. The next day I switched on my TV and wanted to watch Nowtv. Used the remote to go to the HDMI socket that the box was connected to and nothing happened. Switched through the connections using the remote and manually still no picture. I pulled out the HDMI leads and the Nowtv stick. Connected it back together. It worked. This happens every morning when I switch everything on. Does anyone know why this is happening. It seems it’s pot luck on how I get it to work every morning. Is it a fault of the box? Or something else. I use quality leads never cheap ones. Any help would be fantastic.

Nifty little box happily connects my DVR, chromecast and nintendo switch to the single HDMI port on the aging TV. picture looks exactly the same as the bad old days of plugging in and out the HDMI cables, and it even auto-switches when only 1 device is on.Most minor grumble is the IR pod for the remote has fallen out from the jack once, when the cables took a slip... just bluetacked the thing down so it didn't slip off again.

Stopped working after 4 days and won’t evenLight up now. Cannot be bothered to return as after postage it will be only a refund of a few pounds. Maybe I just had a defective unit as it did do the job fine when was working.
