They have kept my hands 'comfortable' whilst in the water on days where the air temperature has been around 2 degrees ( water temperature unknown ) so basically on pretty cold days in the U
I'm using these for Water rescue training and though they are not of the Kevlar reinforced type or similar they do seem reasonably abrasion resistant. I'm not suggesting they are suitable for rope work as I only use them whilst in water to save freezing hands but some rope us in water has yet to damage them. They have kept my hands 'comfortable' whilst in the water on days where the air temperature has been around 2 degrees( water temperature unknown ) so basically on pretty cold days in the U.K. Now I just need to keep my feet as warm !

Good design, no wrist fastening
Good design, no wrist fastening, bought to wear under Alder paddle gloves.Very warm together.

used for sea swimming
Bought small size - difficult to get on but keep hands warm in cold water. Act a little like my neoprene hand paddles and create a good pull in the water. Good for training could feel additional resistance on bicep but might not be suitable for distance for this reason. Provides good cover from jelly fish :-)

Leaking glove after a very short time of use
I am very disappointed with these gloves I use them to wash my dog and the right handed one now leaks and I get a wet hand
