Instant Table Tennis ~ Play Table Tennis on any table!

My son was badgering me for a table tennis table for ages. With parental wisdom, I knew this would be one of those expensive outlays that was used for two weeks solid then forgotten about.One night I found him and his younger sister playing nicely (a very rare occurrence!) on a make shift net over the dinning room table. Full of love and compassion a the heart warming scene, I dashed into my man cave and purchased this item for them.It is brilliant, easy to clip onto the table, and with two bats and balls has enough for them to play a casual game of ping pong. Yes, it is now forgotten, buried deep in the cupboard, but for 4 glorious weeks the played (mostly) nicely together every day after school.

Instant Table TennisIt's obvious immediately here that you're paying for the design of how the net works. You can get similar net designs for the same money that this set is. The net works very well and I would recommend this based purely on that.The bats are not the best and the soft foam tape that is around each handle lasted about 2 minutes.The balls are also not fantastic, they aren't uniform all the way around, something that is noticeable when you roll them on a flat surface. But for a casual bit of fun it's the same for both players and the set is perfect for that!When one of the bats gives up I'll look at getting a set of bats and balls of higher quality.

The quality of the bats is appalling - I could have made better ones myself. They're made from very thin balsa wood, there's tape around the handles (which doesn't match with the picture of the product) which is coming off at the base and the actual paddle of the bat is uneven and very cheaply made. Sorry - I'm returning this.

Great fun for all the family. We all love this! The net is quick and simple to use and stays nice and taut. The bats and balls are very budget but all in all a great value purchase. Definitely recommended!

This has had a lot of playing time since opened as a Christmas present and it handy disappointed. Good quality net and fixings and the balls are very durable. Not so the bats which are starting to show signs of wear to the rubber after one month. But still entirely playable and can't fault the great value for money.
