I have been overworking in the garden and getting severe pains down the outside of my right thumb. I have a stretch support but it wasn't sufficent. This thumb brace really does the job. I can't do any garden work wearing it as it is quite restrictive but as soon as I finish outside I put this on and it really provdes comfort and support for my right hand. I am very glad I bought it and would recommend it. It is really well made and very comfortable to wear.

Good support for De Quervains. Metal splints have some flexibility so allow a range of movement, useful for carrying out daily activities but I found that eventually I needed more immobilisation so had to get a different type of splint.

I bought this whilst away as my thumb suddenly became really painful. I found a glove like aid at first which helped a bit until I chose this one from Amazon. It’s much sturdier and splints the thumb into position without getting in the way. It really did help!

I don't know what is wrong with my wrist / thumb - I'm too cowardly to go into hospital with Covid running amok. It could be De Quervain's tendonitis or a Scaphoid's Fracture or Lunated Dislocation, whatever it is, it gives me unbearable agony if I move my thumb and wrist ever to slightly in a certain way and I've had to wear this strap for the past 7 weeks to get any comfort or sense that my hand is protected from any movement or nudge that will give me eyewatering pain. This strap is truly fantastic. Very well made, comfortable and ridged to immobilise your thumb. Unlike another customer, I have the steel supports in mine. It's even comfortable to wear during the night - I do and have done for 7 weeks now. The pain is subsiding somewhat and I'm going to buy another one so I can wash the one I have without being without it.

Find them helpful for my wrists and easily washable.

Bought this to stop me from moving my thumb, as I had developed carpool tunnel in my thumb from carrying children.It didn't support my thumb enough and I could still move it, when the point is to not be able to move it at all.It's very comfortable though.But it could use better splints in the supports.

This thumb brace has two metal flexible inserts that gave quite a good support. I initially bought one that hardly was worth the money. This thumb brace is well made and although it will not replace rest and physio it gives me a good night's sleep. The metal is removable so you can wash this brace. Worth the money and I can recommend it.
