Bareboat Cruising Made Easy 1st edition by American Sailing Association (2014) Mass Market Paperback

Excellent Book!
This book is a wonderful read in preparation for Bareboat Cruising whether you are an experienced sailor or just starting out with your first charter. I found it to be packed with information on a wide range of subjects covering just about everything you need to know to charter a boat. Supplement it with ASA 103 (Coastal Cruising Made Easy) and you will have a wealth of knowledge necessary to charter a Bareboat. I found it to be far superior to the old Cruising Fundamentals book put out by the ASA for the 104 course.

Clear and easy to read in print. Avoid a digital version (iBooks of Kindle if they release it), too hard to read on a tablet.
Used for the ASA 104 Bareboat Cruising Certification course. Builds on the ASA 101 course book "Sailing Made Easy" and the ASA 103 course book "Costal Cruising Made Easy". As stated by other reviewers, there is a lot of overlap from book to book. The mass market paperback format is easy to read with good illustrations and pictures. Get the printed books. It is harder to assimilate the knowledge in the digital version (iBooks) on a tablet. This material is better presented in printed form.

Good seller, but the book is marginal.
This book proports to help choose options based on individual needs. It gives the options, but very little info on which option is best for which circumstance.

Really good book
A very comprehensive book. Some is very basic sailing knowledge yet I sometimes go back and reference it. I don't think you can go wrong purchasing this book.

Sailing is Fun
the boats were old and accommodations substandard. food provided was not enough to last 1 week, and not good at all. we ended up eating out every day.The captain was ok, but could use a little mannerism especially around women.the trip was nice and we saw some nice islands. Important to read the ASA manuals before you go so as to be more familiar with sailing.the best days were on the islands and getting off the ship.
