Great function, dissembles to a small chef knife
Biggest kitchen shears you will find. Disassembles into two separate knives. One knife is a small chef knife. Eliminates the need for a cutting board for lots of applications. If you could only have one knife, this is a good one because it comes as shears, e.g., camping, dorm room, office kitchen. My wife thinks the handle are hard to get a grip on because they are large. True, but manageable. Another application we discovered was cutting messy food for a portion size right in the package, e.g., oily smoked salmon.
