Libbey 1639HT Restaurant Basics DuraTuff Mixing Glasses, 16-ounce, Set of 12

These would hold a 12 oz beer just fine. They are very solid and actually weigh 14.6 Oz each. My similar glasses that have broken over the years weigh 11.6 Oz each so these seem like they would be a little less likely to break since they are much thicker. The bottom has two digits on it, very small, and certainly don't say Libby so they might be another brand but they do not seem to be "seconds" quality. No flaws or weird shape that some other reviews have mentioned. I will keep most of them in the box in my basement, so I can just bring them out when I'm entertaining.

Good quality good value

I bought these to replenish our set of similar glasses that we’ve been breaking over the many years. They do last a long time and because they are thick, they are durable. These glasses don’t have the traditional Libbey logo at the bottom of the glass but appear to be the same quality.

This is my second order of these.I love them, but one of them was broken in this shipment. Well at least one.I haven't fully unboxed the rest of them, so they're may be a few others that are cracked but not fully shattered.

I love these pint glasses. I pop a few in the freezer and don't worry about any of them breaking. They are sturdy and heavy. Would purchase again.

It was a gift

OK, this glass isn't European crystal but it is notceably more sturdy than its peers as its Duratuff claim is verynoticeaable. It also is stackable so uses 1/2 as much cabinet space as other smilar glasses. I was breaking similar glasses routinely but this is a much tougher glass and has a more crystal appearance to it. So worth the price forthis superior glass. This is the one if you want a simple beer glass.

We were looking for nice pub glasses and these were a great option for the price, quality, and size. No fear of them breaking when they are stacked or stored.
