Pretty good..
I really like this seasoning mix. It does have a nice spice level to it but I don't think it is overly spicy.I have used this when making ramen, which works really well and I also like to use this when I am making my baked chicken wings. Also a little sprinkle added to some broiled or grilled veggies goes really well..I will buy this again. As far as the expiration date issues I have seen, the seasoning lasts and is still good after it expires. I transfer my seasoning to an empty seasoning container. When I use up my other seasonings, I clean out and save the plastic containers they come in. I repurpose them for other seasoning blends I make or use for bags of seasonings like this here..

Excellent
The flavor of this spice is wonderful, flavorful, and there's no need at all to add any extra salt. I don't even bother to add any extra pepper in any form; the flavor is so good. Anything I add to the pot is enhanced, and I only use about a tablespoon most of the time. Use your imagination and make something besides frat boy noodles in a cup. This ramen powder will be a great addition to your pot.

Good substitute for Nongshim spicy ramen seasoning packs
I can confirm what a few other reviewers have noted: that this seasoning powder is a good substitute for Nongshim brand Shin spicy ramen noodle seasoning. While the flavor is not absolutely 100% identical, it is very close, and the the spicy/hotness level is very similar also. For fans of the Nongshim spicy ramen noodle packs, this seasoning offers a nice alternative option to: 1) buy plain Nissin or Maruchan ramen noodle packs to use with this seasoning and save a good amount per pack over Shin noodle packs (30+% or more), or 2) get a very similar spicy flavor with other kinds of your favorite noodles that Nongshim does not commonly offer (e.g., Hong Kong-style thin noodles). If you really like the spicy flavor of Shin ramen, you can get this seasoning and save money, or get the flavor with other varieties of noodles you might like better - give it a try either way, and see for yourself!

Good sub for NongShim Spicy Shin Ramyun with a small tweak
I didn’t want all the calories and carbs but still wanted to enjoy the taste of NongShim Spicy Shin Ramyun substituting shiratake noodles. At first, I was a little disappointed because when I used the amount required to get the flavor intensity right, they were too spicy. Mixing this 50/50 with beef bouillon powder gives a more intense flavor at a more acceptable level of spice.

This stuff is a life-saver when I’m craving a hot, spicy Korean soup. It’s got the perfect kick of heat and makes any ramen taste rich and flavorful in seconds. Perfect for chilly days when I just want something warm and comforting. Just mix it in, and boom—instant deliciousness. Can’t live without it!

Great, but price has gone up a lot
I’ve been buying this same seasoning for about a year or two now, while it is great and tastes really good, the price has gone up gradually by 3 dollars since. I get that inflation and all that has raised the prices, but charging basically 10 dollars for the same pack of seasoning (or even less) is crazy. I don’t think I’ll continue purchasing seasoning from this brand unless it’s on sale.
