Works very well, but takes time to see effects.
I've suffered from a series of recurring staph infections on my legs over the past year -- at least three. Ingrown hairs and nicks from shaving were almost definitely the cause of the issue. I also suffer from eczema, which meant that waxing and other hair removal methods would only further irritate my skin. Laser hair removal seemed like the best solution for my needs. It would lessen the hair growth enough to eliminate the need to shave, and prevent hairs from becoming ingrown since they just wouldn't grow back. I'm a good candidate for laser -- I have very dark coarse hairs, and a medium-light skin tone. I bought this particular unit after doing some research online -- it seemed like a really good combination of cost and quality. So far, I don't have any complaints about the unit. It's very easy to use, and the instruction manual has very clear images and directions. It was definitely translated into English, since the grammar is a bit clunky, but it's understandable. I started with a test patch on my ankles. I used setting two, and exfoliated and shaved beforehand. I could tell right away that it was growing back much more lightly after only a couple of days. Two weeks later, I decided to do my ankles and my calves. It itched a little as some hairs grew back, but overall, the hair growth was much lighter. It looked like I hadn't shaved my legs in 4-5 days, not 14. I've done two more treatments, with 1.5-2 weeks between them, still working on the same area. It's getting noticeably less fuzzy every time. My process goes like this. First, I dry-shave the area I want to treat with an electric razor. It removes the longest hairs. Then I use an exfoliating glove in the shower with soap to soften up the skin and clean the area. Third, I shave the area carefully with a manual razor and shaving cream. I pat my skin dry, then I start the laser hair treatment. I start on level two or three, carefully going up and down my legs once or twice with careful strokes. It takes a few minutes at most. (I realize the guide says 15-20 minutes, but given my particular history with skin issues, I'm being VERY cautious.) Afterward, I rub lotion on the treated area. It seems like a lot, and it kind of is. But I'm seeing the improvement, and I've only had one ingrown hair since I started the treatment. In another couple of months of treatments, I do think the hair will be gone, or at least light enough to not be noticeable. I wish I'd tried this years ago, but I'm really glad to be doing it now.

Save time shaving, life-changing divide.
I’m not a hairy girl but when I was a kid I plucked and shaved my lower legs a lot. It led to darker and thicker hair when I grew up. Now I’m in my 20s and my lower legs are one of my biggest insecurities, to be honest. I only know that those laser hair removal devices are available for sale when I saw it at my friend house. I looked up several devices that have quite good reviews but I bought this one because it looks similar to the one I saw on youtube review. I have only had one treatment with this device so far and the result is quite satisfying. Almost all of the hair on my lower legs fell off but there are still black dots. No skin irritation so far. My skin feels smooth and finer after the treatment. I used it 3 days ago and there is very little new hair coming. I’m gonna wait for another week to use this device again. I’m expecting my hair cycle to be slower and the new hair will be less thick. This divides save a ton of time driving to the spa and I can use it anytime in my house. I will update the result next week. Update: this devide stops working after 2 week. I couldn’t be more disappointed. I would rather spend more on a devide that actually works. Update: turn out the outlet in my bedroom broke so the electricity didn’t go through. It works like normal when i plugged into other outlets.

Spend your money on a professional.
Worked ok for a few months. Definitely slowed growth of hair down, but if you miss a week the hair grows back. I bought it in May and by August it stopped working. I didn't buy the warranty because my assumption is a product that cost this much will last at least a year.

Effective on coarse dark hair with fair skin
Background: I had spiky, dark hairs on my chin - about 25-30 on each side of my face - and just a few on my upper lip and neck. The first two pictures show the chin area - I was shaving them every 36-48 hours. and starting to feel self-conscious about them just 24 hours after shaving, when the shadow would become visible again. Even right after shaving, the hairs could be seen as dark dots under the skin, since I have pale skin. Usage: Overall I'm really pleased with this product. I started using it on my chin and upper lip every 5 days. Originally I used it at Level 1. (The packaging recommends Levels 1-3 for face, and higher levels for body.) But I didn't really start seeing results until I used Levels 4 and 5 on my face. I went up one level at a time with each use and waited to see if there would be any adverse reaction. Since using Level 5, I've seen a reduction in hairs for sure. It's now been 3.5 months since I started using it, 2.5 months since I went up to Level 4, and 1 month since I went up to Level 5. I started really being sure I was seeing results after 1.5 months of use. Current progress: The third picture shows my face now (after shaving). The dark hairs are no longer visible under the skin after shaving. The number of truly dark, coarse hairs has plummeted - before it was almost too many to count since they were so close together, now it's hard to count because they are so few an far between and the ones that I might classify as "dark" are becoming fair. I can now go days without shaving before I feel like the hairs start to become visible to people a normal distance away. Downside: As advertised, this product works best for dark hair and light skin. The device has worked well at dramatically reducing the number of dark hairs I had, which is great! (I don't know if the dark hairs disappeared and only light ones are left, or the dark ones turned light.) However, I'm still left with light and blonde hairs. They still feel somewhat coarse when they grow in, so I often will think that the area must look worse than it actually does, because it feels like there are a lot of hairs, but then a look in the mirror shows that they are barely visible. I'm going to keep using the product, but I'm not sure how much more it will be able to do for the light hairs. (I almost wish they'd turn black so I could zap them more effectively!) Side note: I also used this on belly button area a handful of times. I'm less consistent there because that area is less important to me, but even after only 1-2 uses I saw a dramatic reduction there as well. I will probably focus more on this area leading up to bathing suit season next year. I may also work on my legs since the bulb comes with 300,000 flashes, even if just to somewhat reduce/lighten the hair. tl;dr: Happy with the product, it works as advertised, would buy again, wish I had bought it sooner! I'm not 100% hair-free but I'm satisfied and I think this is the best I could have hoped for.

Doesn’t work good
It’s value for money but you have to waste little time for results maybe. Don’t remove hair good. But functionality good . It’s works well like device.

An easy to use professional IPL laser hair removal machine
I always want to try the IPL hair remover but I am afraid of the pain it may give. The old way of hair removing by shaving is ok to me, but the new hair are getting thicker and sometimes I got ingrown hair follicles, which I really hate. After my friend recommended me that I should try because the pain is very minimal, I decided I will give it a try. To be honest, my pain threshold is not that low, but I am very scared of the zapping sensation ( which I thought the laser may give me). I got the machine. It comes with the laser gun, cord, googles and the manual. After reading the manual like 10 times to make sure I got it right, I decided to try it on my legs. I used the lowest level of laser ( level 1). I followed the direction that I prep my skin and ready to shoot the laser. The first shoot was kind of scared me, but surprisingly the pain is very minimal. Thinking about not having to shave again makes me excited. I will follow the direction to use it 2x/week for a couple weeks and see. As of now, I am happy with the purchase and I am happy that I could actually overcome my fear to use it. If you are afraid of pain, try it, because I can tell you the pain is very minimal compare to the great result you will get.

It WORKS!
I was a bit skeptical that this would work, but I took a shot at it anyways and I am pleasantly surprised! The packaging is nice and it's easy to use. I'll admit the direction booklet is a little unclear, but I was able to get the important information. This is bright, so please use the included glasses while using to protect your eyes! Find the right strength that you can handle (and this might change depending on the area that you do). It should not be painful; there will be a little zap but it's perfectly tolerable. I have pale-ish skin and dark brown hair. I used this on my bikini area (it says not to...) and my armpits once a week for 3 weeks, then once every 2 weeks for 3 uses. The hair has diminished drastically. I can go weeks without even thinking of hair removal. A few of the finer or more stubborn hairs still hang around, but I don't mind taking care of those with a razor every now and then.
