Ok for a refurbished lens
I wrecked my original 18-55 f2.8 in a hiking accident and thought I would get a used lens. This one got good ratings. It works ok but it’s not completely normal. The manual focus “halo” comes on even with auto focus. I think the picture quality is ok but have to wonder are there other things not quite normal I am missing.

"Factory Refurbished" except for what ever ate a hole in the lens coating.
If not for the spot on the lens coating I would have given this 5 Stars.Naturally, I noticed the spot after the return period ended.I recommend immediately taking a picture of the sky or a light-colored wall or something if you buy a refurbished lens.It's fixable in post-processing, but it's also at least one more step in the workflow.
