Great fuel pump for 32/36 progressive carburetor
Installed in my air cooled Vanagon which has a Weber 32/36 progressive carburetor which requires less than 4 psi fuel pressure.I tested with a pressure gauge and mine is right around 3 - 3.5 psi.Vanagon fuel lines are 7mm or 5/16, so I needed to use one of those plastic filters as an adapter to the pump’s 3/8 inlet. Works great and the extra filtration doesn’t hurt and may actually help keep fuel pressure within the carburetor’s limit.

Works well
Install was easy enough. Small, compact, and quiet. This is my second one, yhe first one failed due to my carelessness. Apparently these things don't like to run continuously for 2 days straight lol. Anyways it keeps the fuel pressure at around 2.5 psi which is perfect for my 89 dodge ram 50 so theres nothing really to complain about unless it fails without my stupidity.

Volkswagen super beetle 72 worked well
I installed this on my 1972 Volkswagen super beetle 1600 it worked well and the pressure was 3.2 so I didn’t need a regulator for my carburetor.

Great in line fit on rail
Great electric fuel pump. I used this on my 1973 Super Beetle with the 1600 dual port engine, my 1966 Volvo 122s with an updated B20 engine, and my 1968 Volvo 122s with the B18 engine. Works great, is compact and I was able to put it underneath all 3 of my vehicles along the rails. Good product and not very hard to install.

does not work out of the box for 1971 VW Beetle
bought it for my 71 bug but I didn't notice that the inlet and outlet are way larger than the vw fuel lines so would need to adapt the fuel line to make it work. Unfortunately I bought it long before I attempted to install it and have decided to scrap it and buy a different fuel pump

works great
So far, works great. The reason for the 4 stars on the install is due to the pump and filter has different size outlets and my tank and hard line are also of a different diameter. I had to use different size hose and hose reducers to make it all come together. 1971 VW Beetle.

Model A fuel pump
I don’t need a regulator and the Carter fuel pump comes with a filter. The cost was very reasonable.
