These are not as heat proof as I would have liked. I got them to replace my padded fabric ones which had worn and were letting through the heat after holding something for a short time and unfortunately these are letting through just as much as my broken ones. You don’t feel the heat immediately but if holding something for a short while you can.

I love these, my husband manged to destroy my last pair (which is some feat as they are really sturdy) and I had to come back and buy the same again. So easy to use being separate gloves and not joined, the rubber hands give a much better grip on dishes than cloth gloves, and best of all if you dip the glove into your oven bake by mistake you can literally just wash your hands with the gloves on and clean them that simply. Brilliant.

this may be a small annoyance, but i hang these outside the oven to easily put them on when needed. as they are the same glove, the hook loop actually covers up the entry for your hand on one of the gloves because the loop is obviously on the same side, so when you flip the glove for use on the other hand it's in the way!this is of course a small annoyance so onto the positives. they are super thick and you feel no heat and are able to hold a hot item for a very long time - they don't burn, no smell and are comfortable and easy to clean. aside from the loop annoyance, a great product.

These gloves are really good at keeping the heat at bay. The rubber pads give excellent grip and each glove can be worn on either hand which makes them easy to use.

This is a dangerous product! The plastic outers make the gloves slippery and caused my wife to drop and spill boiling fat over herself! I cannot stress strongly enough that these gloves are hazardous! Avoid.

Excellent quality, great protection and would recommend but unfortunately far too big for me so will be handing them over to my son.

Am really delighted with these oven gloves. They are more expensive than many but are well worth the extra. Length protects wrists, though quite large the fact that the ends are flexible means they fit even smallish hands and they are very practical. Easy to wash and keep clean. Would recommend this product and will be buying a second pair.

A really brilliant product; for someone who for ages was burning themselves while balancing hot trays from the oven with tea-towels, to finally get 2 high-quality oven gloves is a revelation.The ease now with which items can be taken from an oven is great. These gloves are a must for any kitchen.
