The alphabet... numbers... it's all there
For the last thirteen years now I've been making notes for what will almost certainly be the most important novel of the 21st century, or perhaps of all time. I see no point in starting a novel if it's not going to come out that good. Why waste everybody's time if you're not going to write the best book there ever was? People are busy.I've had two Cherry keyboards before, one being their G83 full travel clickety-click type, you know the one. That's pretty decent, but you get used to the laptop type of keyboard and it's just too weird to keep adjusting. It's like if you were to go out with a tall woman, and then a short one, and then a tall one, then a short one again, and then after that it's another tall one. You don't need that kind of messing about. It's hard enough work dealing with what they come out with. "Your flat's a bit small, isn't it?" "What do you mean you can't drive?" "You should join a gym. Bye." All that.Where was I?I can give this keyboard a solid 8 1/2 out of 10 kind of figure. I can't really fault it. I'm docking 1 1/2 points because if the keyboard was perfect I'd feel too ashamed to use it. I'm useless, I should have to dictate my novel by triggering words with my eyelid, like that bloke, that's what I deserve. Or even worse, I should have to type it on a Lenovo 100S laptop - that had the worst space bar ever. i'm surprised there aren't about twenty thousand Lenovo 100S laptops in the oceans right now, maybe there is. That space bar, it used to drive me round the twist it did. Sometimes you'd get no space, sometimes two or three. I was livid. I can't blame the fact that my novel isn't on page two yet on the Lenovo 100S though, it wasn't just that. That wasn't even out thirteen years ago. The main thing is i'm afraid of being happy? I'm afraid of fame, and the attention of women. If I could get past my fear of happiness, fame and women i would be churning the pages out. Hypnosis maybe. Maybe I should have hypnosis done on me.It's a very handsome keyboard, also, i'll say that. The keys are black, and the casing is a very dark blue-black. It almost sounds like it couldn't work, doesn't it, the colour scheme? Like when you go out in a blue suit with a black shirt and you see yourself and think, What did I put this shirt on for tonight? There's not enough contrast. People see you and think, There's not enough contrast in that bloke's colour scheme there. He should have worn a cream-coloured shirt. Works fine with this keyboard though, that colour scheme does. You have people taking their own snooker cue into a pub, don't you. I might start taking this keyboard into the library with me. If you're serious about playing Solitaire and trying not to be seen looking at OK Cupid in the library then you've got to take your own keyboard, create a bit of mystique in there, show people you mean business. They'll be all like, "Is that a Cherry that bloke's got?" And you'll just sit down there, plug it in. You won't be able to hear a pin drop in that library. "What's he doing?" "He's moved the King down, I'd have waited till it was the King of Hearts, he's snookered himself already." "What's he looking at her profile for, she wouldn't have anything to do with him..." People have got a nerve. Haven't people got a nerve? I think they have. That's my evening ruined. I can't even reminisce about what libraries were like without someone getting on my case.Treat yourself to a Cherry JK-036, it's dead smart.

Wears out quickly
This keyboard looks good for its price point. It's nicely designed and the keys feel good to use. I felt let down by the build quality; after six months of normal use (bought it for work) the space bar is becoming unresponsive (missing ~1/10 keystrokes) making the keyboard frustrating to use. Sadly looking for a replacement.

Top keyboard
Brilliant keyboard. I work 8+ hours a day using AutoCAD - and need a kbd which is SILENT, your fingers glide about the keys, no wobble and is absolutely rigid with no bounce or miss-keying. Bonus is that the keys are black but the main body is a very dark blue-black so an exact match to my Ikea desktop. Couldnt be happier.UK keyboard. (beware... some cherry kbd's are USA or EU etc: chaeck the gb code at the end of the product number)

Good value for money and just what I was looking for!
Comfortable keyboard, nice and sleek design, and feels rather premium (for the price of a little above £10). Great value for money. Item arrived within two days of placing the order. Have been using this for a week now, so far so good. Definitely recommend if you're seeking a quiet and comfortable long-hour typing experience.
