Calf training at home isn't always easy especially if you want to do seated calf raises. Resting a bar on your legs with a tonne of weight is no fun, this compact machine is the answer for me !It came well boxed which is good as some nuts and washers came loose in the box , instructions are basic but functional , tip: make sure the back vertical leg is the right way round so that the feet are flat to the floor when connected to the horizontal.Construction is good , especially for the money, using it is comfortable and because the weight is on the end of a lever the leverage means you don't need that tonne of weight on the end ! Note" the plate bar is solid ( nice touch ) all in all if you have the space i think this is a great bitbod kit, time will tell ref durability but it feels solid and well madeRecommended !Update : recommended to put rubber pad on bar rest to prevent paint chipping and rubber rings on plate holder

For the price this is a fantastic machine, easy to assemble and works very well, brilliant for the outer calf area. Box looks like it had been through the wars when it arrived and a few chips of paint off here and there, so reason for 4 stars not 5. It came from Germany and well worth the wait. Would highly recommend buying this whilst they are available, real bargain. Sturdy to sit on and the main arm part can be a bit loose side to side, so I wrapped some gaffa tape around the bolt and did it up tight, same for the leg cushion section and sorted it nicely. You’ll see what I mean when you assemble it! Also goes nice with the adaptors from Amazon to accept Olympic 2” plates.

Great value for money. Lots of washers and bolts etc as you would expect, so unless you're a natural at assembling things like this, don't do it when you're tired. I did have to add a few washers as the delivery company had smashed the box up causing a few washers to go missing. Easy fix though.

i cant find anything bad to say about this product extremely good quality easy to assemble how they can sell it at this price its worth much more it works great makes the calf's burn highly recommended

I was a bit sceptical with the price being so low-but need not have worried!-it's a good quality bit of kit better than most even at double the price and it arrived a week earlier than the amazon estimateTook about an hour to assemble single handed (but tbh quite a lot of the time was spent looking for my socket set! to give the bolts a final tighten)Some minor niggles-knee pads could provide more support-foot plates seem to be at a 'less than optimum' angle for a good range of motion and bieng taller (6'4") I have to sit right at the back of the seat which means that my bodyweight is creating less resistance so need to use more plates! -also some of the paint was chipped off some parts (but it's going in my gym -so that would soon happen anway!)Came with 1" bar so had to buy olympic sleeves (maybe these could be offered as an optional extra to save the hassle-I would have ordered them!?)All in all a useful bit of kit,super cheap, easy to assemble, quick delivery and does the job very well-what's not to like?

solid machine, well made, but for me, foot position was very uncomfortable, otherwise would have been five stars.ps. i have altered the foot plates to my liking recently, : )

Amazing value for money, a couple of parts missing which I had to get from eBay as supplier don’t carry parts, they did however give credit me back the cost of the items.Overall very happy with the product and service
