Farm Innovators 3100 Circulated Air Incubator Still Air Fan Conversion Kit for Improved Egg Hatching, Stainless Steel

My wife's been unable to hatch any eggs in her Farm Innovators Incubator. After two failures I bought her an automatic turner. Failed again. After that I added a third thermometer. Turned out the the internal thermometer moved inside it's graduated holder. The lid thermometer was off by 8 degrees. I bought a Zoo Med Digital Terrarium Thermometer and two traditional ones. I wanted to be sure the temperature was accurate. All three of the thermometers agreed to within .5 degrees. To complete the thing I also purchased the Forced Air Fan Kit. My Farm Innovator Incubator already had the connectors for the fan and mounting holes already partially punched through. Installing it was a breeze with a screwdriver. The temperature inside the incubator is constant. The fan does cause moisture to condense on the Plexiglas window. I can't see how that will cause any issues. We'll know in a few days when/if the eggs hatch.

So easy to install its insane lol. I have still air incubators that I am converting and this has been so helpful. My temperature stabilizes faster and my chicks dry quicker after hatching.

I purchased a still air incubator for hatching chicken and duck eggs. My house, being drafty, is not ideal for the use of a still air incubator, but the cost of a circulating air incubator was much more. When I found this fan to convert my still air incubator into a circulating air incubator, Inourxhased it immediately. It installed in less than a minute or two and my hatch rates have greatly increased due to the air circulating inside the incubator. This is an inexpensive way to convert a still air incubator into a circulating air incubator.

It works to keep the temperature even in the incubator, we had a large increase in hatching success, but it is noisy.

I bought 3 of these, 1 for a Little Giant 9200 and 2 for the Farm Innovators Model 2100. they all had a vibration to a varying degree. I noticed if I spun it by hand (in the vertical position) it had a tendency to stop with the screw that secures the fan to the motor shaft at the bottom, indicating the heavy spot. I replaced the Phillips head screw with a set screw... Metric M4 x 0.7 x 6mm long. This really made a difference. I have access to screws from work, but our local Ace hardware has a great selection of bolts or you can search amazon.

I installed this on a Little Giant 9200 model incubator. It looked like a good replacement for the Little Giant 7200, which I can't find any more, so I took a gamble and ordered it in. This fan fit perfectly, bolt holes line up. Install was identical, This fan is a great (and cheaper) sub for the L.G.7200 kit. the only small downside is that it does not come with the t-tap electric connectors. I found a 65pc kit on amazon for 8 bucks, just added it to my collection of random kit stuff in the garage. I know the auto part stores also carry smaller similar kits too.

Very expensive for such a small cheap fan. Original didn’t last long. This one didn’t either.
