I will be using for my luau party to decorate my buffet table. I like that it runs off batteries and has an on/off switch so no cords for me to deal with and I can turn the switch off when not needed to save the batteries. The con: It comes with a USB cord but it doesn't work, only works with batteries. Despite this, I prefer the batteries but have contacted the seller.

I was looking for a flamingo decoration light that is on battery, so that I can put it on my bookshelf without having to plug it in to the wall. This one fits perfectly into my bookshelf and is on battery!! Great for the price and it has the perfect kind of neon pink.

So obviously these are going out with ZERO testing as the internal switch on mine didn't even have a wire attached. There was no evidence that an attempt to solder was even made. So yeah, that's a pretty bad situation. Okay for me, I can solder, but the average consumer isn't trying to repair their DOA product. Bad look for the company.Otherwise, after fixing it lights up as it should.

Has a nice warm pink glow, simply plugs in with a single switch for on and off. No frills, not too bright and definitely not dim. It's like beings transported to some theoretical 80's pad in Florida in a cheesy way.

I have other tropical neon lights and I wanted a couple small flamingos. These were perfect and arrived fast,! The best things are: the surprisingly low price, they are unbreakable (looks like glass but is plastic), and they operate on batteries so they can be placed anywhere. Very happy with my fun new lights.

Unfortunately there is no hole to plug in the USB cable.

as much as i loved this neon light it only worked when i used batteries and would not work with usb cable it came with. then it stopped working altogether after about 2 hours on the batteries. it gave off a burned off smell, so im guessing there was an electrical issue. i wont bother returning this item.

I love the lamp. It really gives off a pretty pink glow. I am using the battery option and since I have only had the lamp for one week and used for a couple of hours I can't say what the battery life will be. As of now, I am very satisfied with the lamp.
