While nursing a Husky puppy 🐶, I realized that since Huskies are having sensitive stomach and a picky eaters, never stick to one brand. Initially I used high quality royal canin maxi puppy, then after few days my puppy stopped eating. Then switched over to Cannine Creek, again after few days my puppy stopped eating that, then switched over to Pedigree pro..have to infuse butter in that in order to eat. Now started Drools focus.. now she is eating without butter . That means she likes the scent and taste. Good product indeed.

I've bought this product from my local pet store a few times, this is the first time I got it from Amazon because the pricing was better. I have mentioned this product in the past in one of my reviews regarding Drools Large breed premium puppy food and I would just like to re-iterate the fact that it is a top-shelf product that can compete against the likes of Royal Canin, no matter what people say. I have confirmed this with my vet, dog's trainer, and other dog lovers. Ingredient wise, there are no fillers like corn, gluten, soy, etc and the main ingredient is chicken; it also has a healthy addition of vegetables, vitamins and Calcium. It is the complete nutrition for your pup at a better rate (compared to Royal Canin Lab Jr.). Now, I won't say that Drools Focus is better than RC or vice-versa, I would like to maintain that these two along with Hills Science plan are the three #1 dog food brands in India. The kibble will not smell as good as Royal Canin, but I mean its dog food; can't expect a lot in terms of smell. They even make the vegetarian kibble smell rancid because that's what mutts like. And another thing I would like to point out is the kibble shape, not a big fan of the little triangular pieces, I would again give credit to RC for making a breed specific kibble shape. All in all, this is a great purchase and a top-notch product. You won't regret it.

Hi, I have been using this Pedigree product for over two years now and regretting my lack of market research. Pedigree is the worst pet food you can give to any animal. Pedigree Dog Food and Pedigree Cat Food are exactly the same. It contains only Corn and Chemical Artificial Flavours. Neither the dog food nor the cat food of Pedigree contains any meat. It has no chicken, no meat, no ocean fish, no milk. All the products of Pedigree contain ONLY Corn and chemical flavours that fool your pet into eating it. Of course, if you do a simple little bit of study you will find that home made food is best for your dogs and cats and other pets. In case you have no choice, I would suggest Drools FOCUS Puppy Food which has real chicken and is lot more expensive than this corn food. Another option is Royal Canin but it has to be imported so it is even more expensive than Drools. Pedigree is widely advertised with family friendly and cute kids and furry animals on TV and other media. So people think this company cares about pets. They don't. They feed your pets corn and some by products like chicken feet, beak, animal hooves, and other remains which even a stray dog / cat would want to avoid. Think about it. If you buy One Kilo Chicken from your local slaughterhouse even in expensive Mumbai costs maximum Rs. 110. That is 100% chicken weighing One Kilo. Isn't that better than spending Rs. 1000 on corn flavoured to smell like chicken? If you love your pet, try the home made one. If you want emergency stock of pet food when you don't have time for preparing it at home, go for Drools Focus or Royal Canin. I have now completely switched to Drools Focus and aiming for maximum home made food for my pets and also my adopted strays living on the street.

1.It may have higher quality ingredients but it's definitely have some flavour issue, 2.Ur dog may or may not eat it also if it eats it may Stop eating it after few days 3.I am struggling to feed him 4. Before purchasing I wantn to tell u "it have flavour issue"

Don't just get carried away by Royal Canin. I have used Farmina, RC and Drools as well. RC has least amount of meat and gets protein from other sources. Focus has good meat content and there are no fillers like soy or corn. RC has done well to cover up corn with Maize on their ingredient list which is actually one and the same thing. Dogs dont digest corn well. The smell from Drools Focus is not unpleasant, in fact it is very strong. My Labrador Retriever adores it. Kibble shape of Focus is not good however it will reduce chances of bloat which is nice. You pay 100% custom duty on RC and Farmina that is the reason why they are so expensive. I tried Drools premium as well and I think the quality is good, one needs to look at the ingredients list, meat is what they need. Price is reasonable. Substitute this dog food with a little home made stuff like cottage cheese, chicken broth and egg, if it works for you. Go for it. At 3000-4000rs. range I think this is the best. If you are willing to go beyond it go for Solid Gold and Farmina N&D only.

I'm a first time dog parent, adopted an indie at 4 weeks and raised him till about 4/5th month on Formula and then slowly switched to drools. It's a good feed BUT you have no guarantee if you'll be shipped a defect product, there's no way to tell if your kibble has gone slightly bad on opening unless you open 30+ packets everyday. My dog fell sick, had loose motions and developed a fever, lost lot of weight. After treating for the fever and switching to curd rice my dog was fine, as soon as I shifted back to drools (the same packet he fell sick from) he started falling sick again, this time no meds just switched back to a rice, curd chicken, fruits and veg diet and he recovered in days. Just my experience. I'm never using any dry feed in India hereafter, there's no assurance that you'll be sent a proper product and the common man can't judge if the feeds gone slightly bad easily. NO MATTER HOW GOOD THE FEED MAY BE, IT MIGHT BE SPOILT AND CAUSE SERIOUS ISSUES FOR YOUR DOG.
