I had been looking for a long time to replace similar slides on my chairs that had worn out and that Home Depot no longer carried. These are slightly smaller than I would prefer but are easy to screw on and slide nicely on our wooden floor. I had previouslu tried other kinds but have found that many are not sturdy or don't slide well. These appear to be as sturdy as the previous ones I used that last many years.

This gliders did the job. They are working out great for my dining chairs on my tile floor.

We have tried so many different products to solve the problem of chairs scratching our floors. This is by far the best one. Easy to install. Works like a charm. I would recommend.

I use a straight back wooden chair on a tiled floor for most meals. For years the chair was difficult to move and quite noisy when moved. Although some users recommended larger screws, I used the ones which came with the sliders thinking I could always replace with larger screws if necessary. Installation was quick and simple. My chair now is quiet and moves almost as easily as if it were on wheels. My only regret is that I didn't do this years ago.

I ordered these furniture sliders because one of the original sliders on my HookerKitchen chairs broke in half. I went to the furniture store where I purchased the set, and they did not have any replacements I could buy. You would think as much money as I spent on this table and chair set I would have options at the furniture store. Anyway, here comes this product. I replaced the missing slider and then removed the other three original sliders and screwed in the new ones, and I was immediately blown away because now the chair with the new sliders does not make that awful sliding noise on my Travertine floor when pulling the chair from the table. Also, the chair slides easier because the product is a hardened nylon opposed to a hard plastic.The attached photo illustrates the original slider (far left and middle image) and the new slider (far right image). You can see the original slider is a simple piece of molded plastic that was nailed into the bottom of the chair, and the new slider is a piece of hardened nylon that uses a screw to secure the slider. NOTE: the wear and tear on the original sliders accumulated over a ten-year period; obviously I cannot speak about the wear and tear longevity of the new sliders, but I believe they will last just as long.I am happy with this purchase and definitely recommend this product as a replacement or even if you just want to upgrade from the original sliders, so the furniture is quiet while sliding across the floor.

I live in a hot climate and the stick on types would peel off under pressure. These replacements screw on types are excellent.

I've got these under a 80" couch-sized subwoofer that has to weight at least 300lbs.Slides amazing across my floor. Been working great for about three years.

These did not hold up. They failed in less than two months sitting in once per day, 180 lbs. on a dining room chair with angled legs. If the legs were flush with the floor they may, but the Teflon peeled back and the washer backing scraped the floor. Ugh!!!! Essentially they are too soft for a sheer stress application.

Sliders are perfect for our chairs. They ate easy to install as well.

Had these for a few months, worried that the Teflon coating will come off though.

I predrilled the legs on my chairs before installing the screws. This made the install easy.They work well on my oak kitchen chairs on our hardwood floors
