Eats Rust For Breakfast!!!
This stuff really works well. It smells kind of rank, but not so bad that I don’t use it on everything metal including my sidearms & long guns, door locks & hinges, knives, and my hand tools. Most recently I managed to save a crusty idler pulley on my old Benz with CorrosionX. I carefully placed several drops of this green elixir on the seam and allowed them to penetrate the small space between the pulley and the bearing overnight. I blew it out with compressed air. Then I did the same thing on the other side. Through both sides it seeped into the internals and displaced a lot of dirt and rust. After blowing it out I applied another few drops. This allowed it to spin freely and quietly, just like new. It’s been several weeks and the lubrication is holding up just fine. Less than a dozen drops more than paid for the whole bottle.

Excellent Product, I've Used it for Years
I always use this for my heavier, lower tolerance weapons (pump-action or auto shotguns, lever actions, etc.) due to its viscosity. PLEASE DON'T GET ME WRONG, this will work just as well in a 1911, but I've found it's a heavy duty lubricant, so I use it as such.I know it's marketed for firearms, but all this is is CorrosionX in a nice applicator tip form. Use it on rusty parts, barrel scrubbing, etc. It's an excellent all-around lubricant and metal protector. I always have a bottle of this on hand in my shop, and when I go to the range. Also, it will last you a long time, the price it right, just get it. You won't regret it.

Test results on its ability to inhibit rust are impressive and it a good lube/cleaner too
Before switching to Corrosion X for Guns I degreased my pistol's slide and barrel. Once clean, I applied a modest amount of the product to these parts, let them sit for a few hours and then wiped off the excess. While waiting I used a toothpick with small dabs of Corrosion X on the friction points. Lastly using a few drops of it on a rag I wiped down the metal parts of my mags. My impression is the product cleans and lubes as well, but is more viscous than Break Free CLP. To me Corrosion X also smells better than Break Free CLP.After shooting 100 rounds without problems, I cleaned the gun in my normal manner but again using Corrosion X again instead of Break Free CLP. The gun was about as dirty as I would expect after 100 rounds and clean up was unremarkable. On first use the container applicator tip must be cut off. Cutting the tip carefully and as close to the end as possible is best since a little of this product goes along way.Overall I was impressed with Youtubers' tests proving this product is an outstanding corrosion inhibitor. This and its cleaning and lubrication properties make it my new favorite.

It works great!
I bought this mainly because of a couple of reviews I watched online. I wanted something that was a little thicker than CLP and also protected a little better. I've been using this exclusively now and it protects great, lube stays in place just fine, and it last. I live in Wisconsin, it gets cold up here and I've never had an issue with it. The lube does not spray well from a bottle, no matter which bottle you get. I've tried multiple kinds of spray bottles and it's just to thick. If you need a spray version of this I suggest getting the aerosol version of it. As long as they don't change the formula I'll keep using it.Side note the only thing that makes this for guns is the bottle. Any of the stuff with the red label is the same lube.

Awesome stuff so far.
So far it seems to do what it is meant to do. It doesn't appears wet after several days, as far as lubricant it is pretty good. I think there are slicker lubes out there like FP-10, but I bought it for corrosion resistance. I think it is safer on plastic and painted surfaces than Eezox because it comes in a plastic bottle. Eezox comes in a metal can and they discontinued it in the plastic bottle. The top 3 corrosion resistance products are Eezox, Corrosion X and CLP. I have all 3. I use this on my guns more than the rest, CLP would be second and Eezox third. If it is a all metal surface with no plastic or paint than it would be Eezox. All 3 are great products and you really can't go wrong with either one but Eezox I think is way to thin to be a good lubricant.

Love this oil
Love this oil... I am in ND where it is a constant battle against humidity. I am a cold sleeper and I have a tactical shotgun that I keep conveniently located near my bed but also directly in the path of warm moist air from bathroom. Every time I shower there are condensation beads all over the cold metal, thanks to Corrosion X my gun is free of any blemishes. I placed my gun in this extreme situation to test out this product. I watched my gun like a hawk for blemishes. (don't worry its my friend's POS shotgun) I applied it to my gun and then wiped it down with a rag removing excess oil and 3 months later still no rust. ... I would love to see how well this stuff would work in a coastal environment where the humidity has a high salt content.

Great oil. Works as described.
Seems to work great at lubricating and preventing corrosion on my blades and firearms. Works exactly as described. Note: it looks like all of the Corrosion X products, regardless of packaging type or size, are the same formulation. Economy of scale puts this little bottle in a pretty pricey category. Unless you need the precision applicator tip your money would be better spent on a larger bottle. You can always buy a smaller, empty oil bottle that does what you need and then fill with Corrosion X from a bigger, cheaper container.
