Great read
After dealing with Psoriasis for over 17 years, trying an insane amount of medications (topical creams, pills, light treatments, injections) homeopathic means and even as far as being paid to try experimental drugs, this book really opened my eyes. I was tested for Celiac disease, which came back inconclusive once than negative the second time. My doctor didn't seem to listen to me, but after reading all the different symptoms associated with Celiac disease, I decided to give gluten free the "old college try" Two months later, I went from 80% of my body covered in horrible and painful scales to almost 100% clear. My mood is stable, my sleep in unreal (8hrs a night, every night!) and all thanks to this book. I read several others but, for some reason, the way the information was presented, really struck a cord with me. Thanks Docs!

Every newly-diagnosed person should have this!
I almost didn't buy this book because I'm an "old-pro" on the gluten-free diet and most of the time I already know what's in the books. But I'm glad I did get it because it is exceptionally well-done! There are many, many aspects of celiac disease and the gluten-free diet, and this book is organized with a short chapter on each subject, written by a person well-qualified in that area. It would have saved me literally YEARS of trying to figure all of this out, if only I had this book when I was first diagnosed. Certainly anyone starting out on the gluten-free diet should have it, and also anyone who still isn't doing well after going on the diet. I'm glad to have it now as a reference and I did read some things that were new to me. The organization of this book would also be an excellent model for books on any number of other medical conditions.

absolutely wonderful book
This is an absolutely fantastic book. Each chapter is written by a Celiac/gluten free expert, ranging from the authors to Dr. Fasano to Dr. Green and many more. The topics are ones that I hear so frequently from my clients, like the impact of cheating, gluten challenges, a gluten-free and vegetarian diet, Celiac and anxiety, gluten intolerance, and much, much more. I'm a dietitian who specializes in CD avid reader on Celiac both for my clients and for myself, and yet I was surprised to find some statistics in the book I haven't seen before.I've asked for a second copy for the holidays. And, let me say I've never reviewed a non-cookbook on my website before, because I can't remember being as enthusiastic about any other book on Celiac Disease.

Living with celiac in México
I bought this book through Amazon.com and had it sent to Mexico where you can not find practically good and reliable information on celiac disease. I have a mother in law, a husband and a 2 year old daughter with celiac disease. This book deals with the issues of real life with celiac disease, what to eat, what not to eat and why do people sometimes do not respond to a gluten free diet although they were diagnosed celiac.Recomiendo ampliamente este maravilloso libro si hablas inglés y te diagnosticaron celiaquía. La mejor información a la cual yo haya tenido acceso. Thanks alot to the authors!

Best Celiac resource for everyone
As a dietitian helping clients with Celiac and other food sensitivities, I have read numerous books on Celiac Disease. Real Life With Celiac Disease tops them all - was easy to read with accurate information of all aspects of Celiac Disease. I read this book in less than one week and could not put it down! Each chapter was written to describe a different medical scenario and personal stories. The book includes examples and practical charts to simply meal planning. I will keep this book close by for use with my practice and recommended for those diagnosed with Celiac Disease.

easy to navigate
Have read through much of the book, easy to pick one chapter I need to read now and skip around as I please. After having been diagnosed a year, was good to revisit some topics and learn things I had discovered yet. Also, is good tool when going to different health care providers, so you can talk intelligently and recieve the care you deserve.

A great guide to moving forward with Celiac
You must get this book if you've just been diagnosed. Will help you through the learning process a lot and doesn't just give repeated technical info. A great guide to moving forward with Celiac. And an easy read, not like a textbook or anything. Provides much better info than most doctors do to be honest and it's great to have so much info so readily available.

I love the short but informative chapters and the fact that ...
As a Celiac, I love the short but informative chapters and the fact that I can zero in on what I am interested in reading. Well written, laid out and extremely informative. A must-have for the Celiac's library.
